A: I would buy this if the LANC works with a BMPCC camera. I got a similar one and even looks the same but it was from a vendor in China. After two weeks, the LANC stopped working. A: The Venus Optics Website says that an adapter is required for certain Sony cameras like the A7 series and they'll sell you one for. 30 USD. I'm betting because of the black-painted MSI hot shoe which has grounding pins inside the shoe itself. The a6000 also has the new MSI shoe, so it looks like this adapter from Venus Optics is required. I don't think B&H sells it.

Q: 9. Do I have to order a Venus twin flash unit specifically for my Canon camera or does it fit all cameras mentioned?

A: I have a 70d fits perfect, I think the shoe mount its for all models...pretty powerful flash
