A: As noted below, it will work with any tripod head that has an Arca Swiss mount. It is the mount on the head the plate has to match. This is specified in the specs on the mount you have, and the mounts are, in general, designed to work with most tripods, or can be adapted to easily. I have the Nikon D810 version, and it works beautifully, making it very easy and fast to switch from landscape to portrait orientations. As noted though, you have to have a mount or your tripod is pretty much useless.

A: Hi. The L plate works well w the base bracket. Today I almost drppped my camera (5d Mark IV) because the screw holding the plate that attaches to the strap came unscrewed. Be sure you check that screw regularly!!

Anyone encountered any issues with different plate widths for landscape and portrait orientations (such that a lever-mount ballhead will have trouble locking to the same tightness in both orientations)?
