$484.50 $775.20

The Hum Debugger from Electro-Harmonix is a hum eliminator designed to clean up your signal chain so that hum will not overtake your guitar sound. The Hum Debugger connects to your guitar, like any other effects pedal. It is enclosed in a tough and compact die-cast chassis, and comes with a 7.5 VAC 400 mA power supply.

The Normal/Strong toggle switch sets the level of hum elimination. In

Normal mode, the Hum Debugger removes only the odd harmonics from the hum

present in your signal, whereas in Strong mode, both odd and even harmonics are removed. The unit is equipped with a footswitch control for toggling between active and true bypass modes; an LED indicates current status.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. if you overdub something, how do you get the audio file out of the looper to use somewhere else?

A: Thank you for your question. The only way to remove a loop is to plug the audio output of this pedal and record it on to an external audio recorder or into a computer with an audio interface.

Q: 2. I just ordered this and it is not working. Trying to eliminate a hum on blue bottle condenser mic. When plugged in I get another frequency hum and no mic signal. Am I doing something wrong or is this thing defective?

A: Being transformer-based, the Sescom IL-19 In-Line Audio Hum Eliminator inherently blocks the 48V phantom power that your condenser mic requires.

Q: 3. Is the power supply multi or just 110v?

A: The included power supply with the Electro Harmonix Memory Boy Pedal is only rated for use on the US 110-120VAC standard.

Q: 4. What country is this made in? USA or China?

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is China. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 5. right angle or straight 3.5mm plug?

A: The Electro-Harmonix EHX Hot Lynx Earbuds with Remote and Mic (BH #ELEHXHOTLYNX) features a 1/8" / 3.5 mm TRRS Male Straight plug.

Q: 6. Vendor/installer inserted a device (magna?) to route all components into a graphic equalizer, then out to speakers. That worked, but it introduced a faint flutter into the output. Even when all components, including the tuner/amp are powered down, if the 'magna' has power to it the flutter remains. The Rolls is said to eliminate flutter, not hum. Is that true? Is there a better device to use with the equalizer, designed for flutter as wells as hum? or just flutter?

A: The Rolls HE18 will only remove buzz and hum.

Q: 7. can it be used for 50 Hz signals?

A: The BUZZ OFF will block 50 Hz hum and the buzz produced by the line noise harmonics from AC Mains powered audio systems. Use short output cables from the HE15 the destination of the audio signal. This seems to help cut down the common mode noise on the long cable segment. This is a great box to have whenever connecting a laptop pc to a public address system to cut out unwanted noise. It works to eliminate noise that is sometimes present when presenters laptop is connected with video to projector and audio to amplifiers.

Q: 8. Would this work with SDI signals?

A: If your signal matches this spec One composite video @ 75 ohms unbalancedOn a BNC connector, yes it does.

Q: 9. Will this work in my smoke detector at home that accepts 9V batteries?

A: Yes it will , I would test the smoke detector every so often

Q: 10. Can this equipment be used by connecting to the boom microphone in the field?

A: If your boom microphone doesn't need 48V phantom power, or if you add phantom power in-line after the Sescom IL-19 In-Line Audio Hum Eliminator, you'd be able to use it with your mic.
