A: Because you ask this question I think this camera is not for you. The BMPCC4K is a camera for highest possible image quality under 3000$. This quality can only be achieved with a flat log and color grading in post. If you don't care for this feature there are way better cameras out there for under 3000$ (with way better autofocus and great image stabilisation) like Panasonic GH5 or Sony A-Series or Canon Eos-Series....

Q: 3. can this record in 4:3 aspect ratio for 2x anamorphic

A: No. It can do 16:9 at best, which is appropriate for 1.5X anamorphic like Bolex Moller, Kowa C35, Iscorama etc.

A: Sorry, there is no definite date of availability for this extremely popular camera. We suggest at the very least that you sign up for notification if you do not wish to pre-order at this time. Either way, you will get the camera sooner that if you wait for it to be on our shelves.

A: You can buy an adapter for these lenses. The EF-S will be a closer fit to the sensor but the EF will work with a larger crop. Some adapters are passive and some are active.

A: Ive emailed the SmallRig folks and theyre definitely designing a cage for the camera. Theyre also looking into doing a cage/mount for Samsung T5 SSD.
