Q: 1. With a Canon EF adapter and lens, will the BM 4/3 image produce a large vignette?

A: No vignetting with the Metabones XL 0.64x with Full Frame lenses and the Ultra 0.71x if using APS-C/DX lenses. The 0.58x will not cover the full sensor for 4K.

Q: 2. No plan to support ProRes RAW since Nikon Z6 and Z7 will going to support Video RAW format including ProRes RAW?

A: ProResRaw is not the same as Raw. It's just a smaller compression than ProResHQ. BlackMagic RAW will allow you to settle exposure and WB in post.

Q: 3. Will it include a battery with a charger?

A: Yes, one battery is included, the BMD Website will be updated shortly to reflect this in the What's in the box section under Tech Specs.

Q: 4. How about the photos? Does this camera shoot? If yes? what is the max resolution of a photo???

A: Micheal @4K DCI that is around 8.5 MP. You can print a clean 8x10 of that @300PPI :)

Q: 6. what is the specs of the lens comes with camera? ....and can i use my A-mount sony lens ?

A: This camera does NOT come with a lens. Sony A lenses can be adapted to MFT

Q: 7. Does it have timecode? Can it be jammed?

A: According to the Blackmagic website the camera can take LTC timecode in through the 3.5mm audio jack.

Q: 8. Why can't BMD simply add a S16 4K crop with firmware?? It can't be that hard surely??

A: We will feed this request back to the developers for consideration.

Q: 9. Will the camera be compatible with LP-E6N type batteries?

A: Yes. No problem.

Q: 10. Will the camera work with most DSLR accessories? Such as a gimbal, slider, shoulder mount, etc.

A: It is too early to have any list of accessories until we get closer to release.
