When the SD card is formatted, all of the recorded data is deleted. Once the data is deleted, it cannot be restored. The one I bought is the new PNY elite performance SDXC (Class 10) memory card which was recommended to handle the larger 4K files. I opted for the 256GB version which if examined closely, has a very small U1 symbol in the far right corrner indicating that it is cataforized as such. It transfers information at 90MB/s and works flawlessly. I feel that investing just a little more goes a long way toward success. The camera is an outstanding value for the buck and coupled with a strong SDXC card, they're both winners in my book.

If you switch to FULL HD Slow Motion Video Mode when [REC FORMAT] is set to [4K MP4], the [REC FORMAT] setting will change to [MP4/iFrame] and the [REC MODE] setting of [1080/28M] will be selected for [MP4/iFrame].
