Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How much weight does it take?

A: This is a quick release adapter for instantly attaching mini tripods and monopods to the WEEBILL LAB, WEEBILL-S, Crane-2, or Crane Plus handheld gimbal stabilizers. It will support the weight of that stabilizer plus whatever camera they can handle.

Q: 2. Will it unscrew with heavy accessory? I use a Ninja V attached with GyroVu Mini Quick Release Plate. It spins loose all the time.

A: If it is tightened down it should not spin loose no.

Q: 3. Will this adapter work with Nikon E lenses as well as G?

A: The following unit will work with G-Type F Lens to Sony E Camera only. G-type of lens offer no aperture dial ring all done internally.

Q: 4. Hi! Can you use an ai and ais lens (F not G) with this? Thanks

A: Yes it will work with an AI or AIS F mount lens. With those lenses you just change the aperture on the lens and not on the adapter.

Q: 5. does this comes with ATOMOS SHINOBI monitor? if not, will it work? i want to power the monitor with d tap

A: Hello Mateo, this does NOT come with the Shinobi as it has a Dummy to AC already. if you are trying to power via tap, you'll need to get this AtomX Battery eliminator.

Q: 6. I have the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G Lens(no aperture ring, only focus) which I would like to use on a a6400. Am I correct that using this adapter I will set the aperture using the ring on the adapter and focus using the ring on the lens ? Will this combination be usable in Aperture priority mode (that's most of the shooting I am doing)? Is the only difference between this one and FONIKFSNYE is that this one has aperture control ?

A: Yes you are correct. The adapter does change the aperture and that is the only difference between this adapter and the FONIKFSNYE. I tested this for you and it also works well on aperture priority.

Q: 7. i have a 2019 macbook pro with sd card reader. do i need this sony reader to transfer files from CFexpress type a cards to MacBook pro?

A: Yes, you would either need to use this card reader, or you would have to use a USB cable to connect your camera to your computer.

Q: 8. When fully collapsed, how big is the kit when stored in the included bag? What are the dimensions? Could it easily fit in a small rollaboard suitcase? Thanks.

A: The kit size is W: 31.5 x H: 31.5" / W: 80.0 x H: 80.0 cm when collapsed.

Q: 9. Hi. Will this adapter allow to focus to infinity ? (other Fotodiox adapter N to S -users reported it's not possible)

A: According to Fotodiox, infinity focus and beyond is allowed on this adapter.

Q: 10. Could this be used to transfer images from the CFexpress type a to an SD. Essentially to create a card back up?

A: Yes but since it is a single slot reader, only one card can be used at a time. You would need to download the images to your hard drive first and then insert an empty card and save the images again. Alternatively saving them to your hard drive is a back up and copying them to a USB thumb drive would probably be easier and safer that storing them on a card.
