The Tiffen 4.5" Round 82 Light Balancing Filter helps to increase the color temperature by 100K in order to cool the image slightly in order to match the color quality of illumination. When using an 82 filter, you will be able to attain 3200K balance when the prevailing light source is 3100K. The cooling effect of this filter requires a 0.3-stop increase in exposure for normal results.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. One reviewer notes that the lens has no aperture ring. If true, how is the aperture adjusted?

A: The FUJIFILM GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR Lens does not have an aperture ring on the lens. You control the aperture with the command dial on the camera.

Q: 2. is there any way to attach a ring light to this lens?

A: The lens doesnt have a front filter thread, so there would be no way to attach a ring light to the lens. Though, with a minimum focus distance of .79 (20 mm), you would likely be looking to find some lighting coming from the side. Or, if the item being photographed is relatively translucent, you might also consider lighting it from the back.

Q: 3. Can I use my filter system 100x150 mm Hilda? Is it internalisera focus?

A: Yes you can use a filter holder on the FUJIFILM GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR Lens. You just need to have a holder lens adapter or step up adapter that works with the lens's 62mm filter thread.

Q: 4. Where is it made?

A: SHENYANG CITY LIAONING PROVINCE,CHINA

Q: 5. Will this lens work with a Sony a58?

A: Yes. The following system is designed and made to accommodate Sony's A mount/full-frame format.

Q: 6. Is the build quality on this lens as good as other GF lenses?

A: Yes, the build quality on the FUJIFILM GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR Lens would be as good as other Fujifilm GF Lenses.

Q: 7. Can this lens be used on a crop sensor Pentax like a Ks2?

A: Yes this lens can be used on a Pentax camera such as the K-S2.

Q: 8. Hi. Will this work on a canon rebel t5i

A: Yes, it will work with your camera. With this super macro lens, you focus by moving the camera

Q: 9. Will this lens work on the Leica SL2 which has internal Image stabilization?

A: Yes this lens would be able to work with the Leica SL2 as well with the internal stabilization, one of the many benefits of the L-Mount Alliance.

Q: 10. Is it possible to shoot handheld macro images with this lense? Or does it need to be on a tripod in order to get a clear image?

A: Because of the fixed 20mm focusing distance, it requires the use of a macro focusing rail that allows you to make tiny changes in the distance between the camera and the stationary subject (that is, you are moving the camera back and forth to focus). Due to this limitation, your subject either needs to be a flat object or, if three-dimensional like an insect, dead. You'll also need a strong light source and "focus-stacking" software, which combines multiple single-plane images into a final photograph that shows greater depth of field. Please see examples of focus-stacked images included in the reviews for this lens, and note just how small an area the lens actually covers. This lens is actually more in the realm of photomicrography than macro photography. If you want to try hand-held macro photography, Nikon makes an excellent 100mm f/2.8 VR macro lens that would better suit your needs.
