The card can receive (1) SM/FC fiber optic signal and decode it to either SD-SDI or HD-SDI for direct output.
Features include real-time uncompressed reception for up to more than 18 miles (30km) with support for multiple SMPTE formats. The small size can easily fit on the back of a camera. The system is ideal for a wide variety of video applications, including remote broadcast camera links, sporting events, media feeds, video production studios, and military information displays.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Can it trigger a canon 600RT without using a receiver?
A: No. The Odin speaks Odin. The Canon Speaks Canon. However, the Phottix Laso Transmitter can speak to an 600RT. And if you have any 580EXII flashes in your bag, you put a Laso Receiver on the shoe to make them RADIO conversant with your 600RT. If you do go with the Odin II, you have to use an Odin II receiver. But then you could use a Phottix Mitros+ flash which as all of the power of your 600RT for a lot less money and even move up to the Phottix Indra flashes if you need a bunch of power. All controlled with Odin II. Something to think about.
Q: 2. Does this transmitter and receiver setup work with the sekonic light meter transmitter modules?
A: Yes when set to the Phottix Laso mode thats the phottix radio mode the Elinchrom- phottix light meter module uses.
Q: 3. Does it fire a Canon 430EX II-RT?
A: No, the Phottix Odin II TTL Flash Trigger is designed to trigger of the following units. Bower SFD5400 Bower SFD740 Bower SFD970 Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL Kit Energizer ENF-300 Metz M360 Neewer NW-670 Nissin i400 Phottix Indra360 Phottix Indra500 Phottix Indra500 II TTL Phottix Indra500 TTL Phottix Juno Phottix Mitros+ Phottix Odin II Receiver Phottix Strato TTL Receiver Polaroid PL126PZ Polaroid PL150D Polaroid PL160D Quantum Instruments Qflash TRIO Basic Quantum Instruments Qflash TRIO QF8 RPS Lighting D728AF RPS Lighting DPZ420AF Sunpak DF3000
Q: 4. Which receiver should I use for a Pentax kp. Thanks
A: Unfortunately, Phottix does not produce a Pentax compatible receiver. They only produce the Phottix Indra500 II TTL Studio Light and Battery Pack Kit, which can be triggered by the Odin II for Pentax. http://bhpho.to/36dOGJH
Q: 5. Can the Phottix Odin II trigger the Broncolor Siros 800 L ?
A: Doubt it. For phottix products
Q: 6. i have an old Sony HDR-FX1 that works best on s-video output. will this work when connecting to a BMD Studio HD?
A: It will not as this device does not have an S-Video connection.
Q: 7. Assuming some day that Phottix offers a separate receiver which fits MIS flash units, can I expect that the receiver with the Odin II transmitter will be able to trigger a Metz 64AF-1 flash unit with full TTL and HHS functionality, or is that an unreasonable expectation? In other words, what functionality am I likely to see from a Phottix radio triggering system used with a flash unit made by a third party (not Sony, not Phottix).
A: Phottix designs for Brand Maker flash camera systems. All accessory brands are designed to be as compatible as their engineers can make them without any assistance from the Brand makers. Being 100% is not always possible although an triggers and flashes from a specific accessory brand will work perfectly well with the Brand and other products in the accessory brand. However, small imperfections can cause problems when accessory brands from different companies are used together.Any problems that an accessory brand has with Phottix cannot be a great concern to Phottix. Hope that answers it. Or maybe. Maybe not.
Q: 8. Can it change power level on sb-700 remotely

Q: 9. will this Canon remote work on a Lumix system?
A: The Phottix Odin II TTL Flash Trigger Transmitter for Canon is specifically designed for Canon's E-TTL II automatic flash exposure system. The hot shoe pin alignment and electronic communication used by Canon cameras do not align with the hot shoe pin alignment used by Panasonic Lumix cameras and does not communicate with the Four Thirds TTL system used by Panasonic Lumix cameras. If you place the Phottix Odin II TTL Flash Trigger Transmitter for Canon in the hot shoe of a Panasonic Lumix camera, you would haves to set the transmitter to full Manual mode and set the flash output manually.
Q: 10. I will be using this with Sony flashes. Will it still be able to do ttl and hss?
A: I'm sorry, but I can't answer this with without knowing much about the Sony flashes. I use mine with the the Phottis Mitros and they work great. I am assuming that if your Sony flashes are equipped with ttl and hss, and that the Odin II can actually trigger your flashes...then it may be safe to say that they are compatible. Sorry I'm not much help but I would suggest you try the b&h chat or call their product support.
