Q: 2. I have the Lexar 64GB Professional 1000x UHS-II SDXC card listed in the recommended accessories section. The Video Assist says no card when it's inserted. How can I fix this?
A: Blackmagic states that UHS-II cards are not compatible with this device. However, they also indicate that the 600x Lexar cards should be able to record 1080p at 30 frames, but not 60. Others have indicated that the Lexar cards don't work at all.
Q: 3. Can it work with Blackmagic ursa mini pro camera?
A: Yes it can. The Ursa Mini Pro has an SDI output to connect to this viewfinder.

Q: 5. Does this monitor have frame guides for different aspect ratios?

Q: 6. Can I use this in a thunderbolt 3 dock? Trying to get 4 display outputs with 2 TB3 ports on iMac
A: That is not an approved or recommended workflow, but it may work with certain docks as long as there is enough bandwidth and power.
Q: 7. I have a Sony S270 hd video camera. Can I record straight to Dvd from the hd-sdi out put of the camera?
A: My quick answer: I believe it will not record directly to DVD, but it will record directly to Blu-Ray disk in real time. The manual indicates to record to DVD you must record to internal hard drive first and then burn to DVD.And now some background & my experience using the SR-HD2500 Blu-Ray Disk & HDD Recorder (the Blu-Ray Recorder). I do not specifically own the Sony S270 camera although I see that it has a variety of outputs including HD/SDI: BNC (x1 output) which lead me to believe it should connect directly to the Blu-Ray Recorder. I have owned and utilized the Blu-Ray Recorder for real time Blue-Ray (Not DVD) video recording from the Blackmagic ATEM TV studio SDI out (BNC connector) and directly from other SDI/BNC equipped cameras and converters. It works perfectly well for this and should work for any hd/SDI: BNC connector video source. Your question is if it will record straight to DVD and, reading the manual, it appears that to record to DVD you must record to internal hard disk first (HDD), and then to DVD (if DVD format is what you need). I record to Blu-Ray disk and it will record directly, (skipping the hard drive process). So, I dont believe it will record to DVD in real time in the way it will record to Blu-Ray format if that is what you need to do. Also, you must, of course, format the disk (whether DVD or Blu-Ray disk) prior to recording and then finalize the disk. Both straightforward and simple processes internal to the SR-HD250 Blu-Ray device. I have utilized this device to record entertainment at our State Fair and in my studio for over a year and it works perfectly well. The device appears very well made, and in particular the connectors are standard and have stood the test of use. Although I cannot speak to DVD recordings, the Blu-Ray recordings are superb. - Dr B.Enter an answer to this question.

A: No. The Video assist does not record composite video
Q: 10. Will this EVF work with the C70 when recording 4K DCI? and if so, at what frame rates
A: This EVF only accepts a 1080p signal at up to 60fps. However you will be able to set most cameras, including the C70, to output HD only even while filming in 4K. You should still be able to use this EVF with the C70.
