The ikan BP2-C Canon DV Battery Plate is an interchangeable battery plate designed for use with ikan's VX7, VX7e,VX7i, VX9, VX9e, and V8000HDMI v2 LCD monitors. This plate attaches to the back of the monitor and allows you to power the monitor or light with the same Canon 900 type batteries used by your camcorder. The BP2-C Canon battery plate also works with the ikan iLED155 light and the QwikSwitch battery charging system. You can easily swap plates if your battery situation changes, so you don't have to buy a completely new monitor, light or charger, just replace the plate.

A: That camera should work. If they need a plate to elevate the camera they can add on the MS103-SS. Its the riser plate for the old DS1. I found it to work will when dealing with lens diameter/quick release plate issues.

Q: 4. Is the Fuji XT2 with the 18-55mm kit lens too light for this unit?

A: While it is on the lighter side, the EC1 does work with the Fuji and the 18-55. It will have some trouble with the 23mm and 35mm f2.0 lenses though.

Q: 5. I just bought a Canon XC15...it's within the weight limits...does it physically fit?

A: Probably Canon XCQ5 has dimensions that fits in EC1. If necessary use Allen wrench (in the box) at the tilt motor to increase its arm dimension.

A: No It doesn't. But you don't need that. Just place it on a table.

A: Specs-wise they're going to relatively handle the same payload. The EC1 is more advanced, and thus, under most condition, would be a better fit based on the advancement of its system

Q: 10. I have a 7D mark ii with Canon lens 24-70 f2.8 L lens. Can the gimbal support the weight and size of the camera + lens?

A: Yes, but the size of that lens may cause some trouble with the gimbals range of motion.
