A: Hi Kenneth,Thank you. The best way would be to purchase a SpiderPro pin (by itself) and attach to the lens collar. You can then tilt the collar (around 30 degrees) to optimize holstering/carrying your camera/lens combo. Please make sure you wrench the pin tightly and check periodically. If you are using Arca-Swiss style plate on your lens collar - purchase our Arca-Swiss CLAMP. A: Negative. One cannot wear the Spiderpro on your own belt. The connection is built into the belt. Furthermore, once you have the weight of the camera, lens and speedlite, the holster can become heavy and the thickness of the belt and the padding is helpful. I also find that wearing the holster in the same position as my trouser belt is uncomfortable, I loosen the holster slightly that it sits further down on my hip. If I was buying this again, I would definitely get the double holster. It is a great product.
