The Dalite 108 x 192" Professional Electrol Motorized Projection Screen can be used in large venues such as stage presentations and auditoriums. It can be installed for either an exposed or recessed application (without the doors traditionally associated with a recessed screen).

The screen comes oiled-for-life  and features an automatic thermal cutoff to prevent burnouts. The braking system is designed to stop the screen in either the "up" or "down" position and prevents "drifting" or "coasting". It includes a three-position Decora style wall switch.

The Professional Electrol can be controlled with Dalite's Video Projector Interface, Single Motor Low Voltage Controller, or Dalite's line of Integrated Screen Control products for more sophisticated control and networking.

Q: 1. How is this shipped? Will I receive multiple boxes for each kit component or will it be one box with the case that contains the remaining kit components?

A: All the components will be nicely arranged in the pre-cut foam insert in one protection case! So you will only receive one box.

Q: 2. Can you recommend a mic I can use for general outdoor (nature) video shoots. Most of my video recording is done outdoors using natural sound? So far the built in mic has been adequate, but wondering if there's a better alternative. Thanks.

A: Hi Carl,I highly recommend the Audio-Technica AT-8022 for the reasons you mentioned. That is the mic that B&H recommended to me. Night and day difference from the built-in mic. I am a professional musician and use that exact camera-mic setup to record my live performances. People have told me that it feels like you are actually there. It is a stereo mic with a nice X-Y pattern to capture enough ambient noise. It has a more focused sound field the closer it is placed to the subject and gets wider as distance increases. All the necessary accessories are included for camera mounting. Well worth the money. If you would like to hear what the mic sounds like, please visit my YouTube channel: Kevin Baricar. Hope this helps your decision.-Kevin

Q: 3. What memory cards work with this camera? the two I got from the recommended products were LEXAR Platinum II 32 GB SDHC cards, but the manual says the camera needs a minimum of 64 GB per card, and I get a memory card warning when I put these in.

A: Dump the 32. Get 128. Then you'll have no problems, just fun.

Q: 4. Are there issues importing MXF files into Adobe Premiere? Does anybody have experience with this?

A: There should not be any issues importing files from the XF100 in to the latest version of Adobe Premiere.

Q: 5. It looks like this kit doesn't come with the lanparte cage for mirrorless cameras. Is there a Gh4 or mirrorless cam cage that is compatible and will fit with the shoulder plate from this V2B kit?

A: We have a cage specifically designed for GH4 or mirrorless cam, and it will be able to fit on PK-02B and is also quick release. Check out SKU: MCK-01 at B&h's site!

Q: 6. What is the base sensitivity(ISO) of the sensor at 0dB?

A: I am sorry but camcorders like the Canon XF100 do not have an ISO setting, which is why information as to its base ISO is not published.

Q: 7. Can it switch back and fourth between print sizes without having stop and switch out media sizes?

A: Yes! it's just your printing settings you need to adjust. Media kit has nothing to do with it. It will cut 2x6 or 4x6

Q: 8. What zoom controllers, if any, will work with the Xf100?

A: LANC controllers can be used. Example of one is the Libec ZC-LP seen here. https://bhpho.to/2L0rceS Further examples can be seen within the zoom & focus section under the accessories tab within the camera's product web page.

Q: 9. Can you manually change the printer to print wider images, like 6x12?

A: Not sure..used 6x8 once..

Q: 10. How do I use it as a webcam and live video online?

A: The XF100 has an HDMI output which you can connect to a capture device for live streaming. The Magewell HDMI USB 3.0 Dongle is a good choice for both Mac and PC if you have USB 3.0 and it is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. While the Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder works with computers that have a Thunderbolt Connection.
