A: I have my doubts whether this will work: if it does, it must be a very tight fit. In judging whether to buy this bag, I measured the overall length of the Wemberley 200 gimbal head mounted on a Gitzo GT5543LS Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod (Long) to see whether and how well it matched the B&H measurements for the largest of this Gitzo GC5101 Padded Tripod Bag, as stated above on this page. First measurement: Internal Head Diameter: 9.25 . By my measurement, the Wemberley head appears to be about 10 wide. Perhaps it will fit if its flat profile distorts the top of the bag somewhat out of round; but it looks as though there would not be much tolerance of any for that maneuver -- and who knows, it might stress the zipper over time. Second measurement: For Folded Tripod/Head Combos up to 35 . The overall length of the combination of collapsed tripod and head (about 33 ) is very close to B&H's stated interior dimension: so there may not be much play in the top of the bag to accommodate the Wemberley mounted by distorting the bag a bit out of round. Considering that the shoulder strap position might add further stress to the zipper, interior pressure on the zipper from an over-size head like the Wemberley could lead to zipper separation over time. As they say about lameness in horses, no hoof, no horse -- so, too, no zipper, no bag.

A: I have a MHXPRO-3W head mounted on a 055 tripod (29.5 total length)that fits in the MBAG90PN bag with room to spare. I think that 33 -33.5 is a reasonable maximum length for the MBAG90PN. Note that the bag is not a simple cylinder. The shortest distance from the bottom of the bag interior to the base of the oval zipper is less than the longest distance from the bottom of the bag interior to the top of the oval zipper. If I needed a bag for a tripod with a mounted head combined length of 35 , I would select a larger bag than the MBAG90PN. Good Luck!
