Unfortunately, that cover is the only good product for a camera with a grip (I could cut the cover for the Nikon D7100/D7200 and D800 with their grip with mediocre to just acceptable results). Don't even try with the cover for the D500 - the lower part of the back is far too thin. This company has yet to realize that most people that buy a pro or semi-pro camera tend to use a grip, genuine or not.
