The black Nalpak TP-1440WH 14" Tuffpak Series Hard Tripod Case with Wheels is a 14" octagonal case that will snugly hold a tripod with a length of 40 to 45", with up to a 150mm ball head. Each case is made from rotationally molded, cross-linked polyethylene. The process takes nearly 45 minutes per case and produces a durable tripod case. The tripod case comes with 2" of foam in the lid and the base to protect the equipment. The foam in the lid is glued on, and the foam in the base (which is protected from the feet of the tripod by a plastic disk) is held in place by detents that are molded into the base of each case. The case is carried by a molded-in handle, and transported on 2" built-in, recessed wheels.

A: The Sony FS7 has a standard threading underneath it to connect to a tripod's quick release plate. As the FS7 ships it is not compatible with this VCT-14 Type adapter nor is it necessary to use. However we do have a number of Baseplate Products designed for the FS7. If you used such products from Shape, Tilta or Vocas to give your FS7 a nicer shoulder mount and 15mm rod support you would then need this VCT-14 Adapter to connect it to a tripod.
