The ST-2A-3 Fiber Transmission System (Transmitter) from Meridian Technologies incorporates an all-digital encoding technology that supports two unidirectional audio channels over one optical fiber. This model uses singlemode fiber. It is well suited for use in intelligent transportation systems, security & surveillance work, access control, among many other applications and settings.

Local indicators provide a visual indication of the status of each audio channel. 3-pin terminal blocks are used for connection of the audio channel interfaces. This series is also compatible with Meridian's SpectraSmart Network management and diagnostic PC-based system.

The DigiSlim product family is available as rack mount cards and modules that can be installed in any of Meridian's desk chassis or in 19" racking frames. This system can be configured in either star (module to rack) or trunking (rack to rack) configurations. These systems can be transformed in to a standalone module by using SR-500/S (standard configuration) or SR-1000/S frames.

Q: 1. TRIGGER DOESNT DISPLAY UNITSI bought this trigger for my nikon d800 (compatible) and I also have d-lite rx4 and BX500ri and I have the following weird problems:1. I synced the lights with the transmitter per manual instructions.2. The LCD should display all of the lamps that are switched on, f.ex. two rx4 lights with two different ID numbers, one BX500ri, but it doesn't.3. Sometimes it displays ALL (1) (why 1 if there are more lights connected?) and today for example it shows ALL (0). HOWEVER it does control the lights, I can change the power of all lamps with the toggle. But the whole convenience of the transmitter is to see the lights connected to it and their power, right??4. Also the mod +- doesn't work on d-lites. I can turn off the modelling light with mod button but nothing happens when I try to change the modelling light power with mod+- button.5. The LCD display fades and flickers in a weird way.I contacted elinchrom but it takes forever to get a response. It looks like the transmitter might be defective.I attach the link to a video I took of the problems.I would appreciate your help.My system is Nikon d800Link 1:https://youtu.be/C42hIYpBzTwLink 2, fading screen:https://youtu.be/fKiV_ntvyN8Could you tell me if it is different on your end? Could you take a photo of your trigger with your d-lites connected? There should be two lines, with each lamp that you can select. Both lights and the trigger have the latest firmware and are properly synced, groups and frequencies and such.Anyway, I will appreciate your help!Roza

Q: 2. Will this trigger a roto aeos + hvl43m? Plugged into a7iii

A: This transmitter will not work with a HVL43M.

Q: 3. When I put it on my Sony a77ii, it turns my liveview to auto (Changes on exposure don't show). And I can make nothing to avoid it. Is it just a thing of my Sony model, or it also happens on the a7 family? Thanks!

A: Send an email to Elinchrome. I could be wrong but I would suspect they have highest level of expertise in there product.

Q: 4. How can i incorporate my canon 600 exrt with this trigger?

A: The only possible wireless route is Pocket Wizard if you are having HS in mind - expensive route. Hhnel and some other similar pass-through hotshoe trigger/transceiver products can be used. Elinchrom has built EL Skyport Receivers HS recently, which will be triggered by this HS trigger. This also means that for each speedlite you will need such an Elinchrom receiver plus. This seems to be the better option because you will need only this HS trigger on top of your camera (comparing to other systems), which will trigger your speedlite which should be on top of the Receiver HS. However, I am not convinced that Elinchrom has mastered HS technology 100%. Though I love my Elinchrom strobes.

Q: 5. Is this tripod compatible with the nodal ninja system? Specifically the M1-L.

A: Yes, it is compatible and attaches correctly. As a tip: some customers also attach a leveler in between the tripod and the M1-L so that they can level-out the horizon without having to adjust the length of each tripod leg, instead.

Q: 6. Does it have a hook to hang something to weight it down?

A: The hook is actually a knob. It's on the side, between the legs. Since this tripod is made to be used at odd angles, and the center post trips to the side for copy work or odd backpacking fauna documenting, the knob is strategically placed in such away to allow all angles and uneven surfaces. It's excellent. May I suggest a ball-head to complete the versatility!? It's the best set-up I've ever had. I actually use my tripod now! Light and functional.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with the Nikon Z mirrorless cameras?

A: Yes the Elinchrom transmiter will work Nikon Z.

Q: 8. I didn't see the Sony a6500 as being supported, but the a6300 is. Has anyone successfully used an a6500 with the Skyport. If so, did Hi-Sync work?

A: Im only Canon shooter, but HS works a bit om the Elinchrom Quadras Action up to about 1/1700, I understand the Quadra HS works the best so hopefully saving as I can...

Q: 9. Does the head have levels

A: Yes, there are 3 levels on the side of the pase & the tripod has a level on the rotating collar attached to the top of the shaft. Love this tripod, highly recommended.

Q: 10. Manfrotto MT190CXPRO4 is it still made in Italy?

A: Yes, it is.
