This Lens Cover for the Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports Lens in Realtree AP Snow from LensCoat is a 100% closed-cell neoprene cover that protects your lens from scrapes and bumps, helping to preserve its resale value. It also provides a thermal barrier during cold weather and provides protection from wet and inclement conditions. This cover can also break up the shape of your lens, making it less visible to wildlife.

A clear plastic window allows you to access the AF controls and the distance scale, while an orientation hole for viewing the dot indicator allows you to mount the lens on your camera without removing the cover.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can someone who owns the large Lenscoat Travel Hood, tell me the length, not counting the Velcro straps? B&H shows 11.95 inches but I think this is incorrect. I have a Sony 400 f2.8 lens.

A: It is roughly 9 inches wide by 24 inches long.

Q: 2. How well does this fit the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary? Would the Raincoat 2 Standard be a better fit (although I fear it might be slightly too small)?

A: I use this cover for my Nikon 200-400mm with 1.4 extender. Works great.

Q: 3. Will this fit on my Gitzo GT5543XLS with LegCoat Wraps 518 and LensCoat Leg Cushion?

A: Yes, the LensCoat Legpad (Realtree Max4), B&H # LELCLDM4, will fit the Gitzo GT5543XLS Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod (Extra Long), B&H # GIGT5543XSUS, with the LensCoat LegCushion (Black), B&H # LELCLKBK, and the LensCoat LegCoat Wraps 518 (Set of 3, Black), B&H # LELW518BK.

Q: 4. Anyone tried putting a Canon 5D with 40mm pancake lens inside this? If so, how tight a fit is it?

A: It will fit, but do note it will be a rather snug fit.

Q: 5. Hi I have Gitzo GT2545TUS travelers series 2 . Lenscoat have a pad to fit in?

A: There is no LensCoat Legpad that will fit the Gitzo GIGT2545T Traveler Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod.

Q: 6. What size would fit my Canon R 100-500?

A: Based on the lens you own, rather than getting the LensCoat TravelHood (Large, Realtree MAX-5), I would instead recommend the LensCoat TravelHood Zoom (Realtree Max5), B&H # LETHZM5 • MFR # THZM5, for use with the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens.

Q: 7. I want a Sigma lens case to fit my Tamron 100 - 400 with attached tripod collar. You only give the box dimensions which does not help. Will this work or is there a better fit? The case for the 150 - 600 is too big.

A: The sigma case is about 6"x12", too big for the 100-400. I would recommend the Lowepro lens pouch 75. You can view it on our website by clicking the link below; https://bhpho.to/3adeHZM

Q: 8. I have a Robus 5558 tripod, if this pad fits?

A: The LensCoat Legpad (Realtree Max4) is compatible with the Robus RC-5558-3 Vantage Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod.

Q: 9. Does this also help protected the camera from the sun/ help keep a dslr from overheating?

A: Nicole , Don't think it would , but it's the best shooting bad weather , rain /snow/fog . I would not use it for overheating just use a white towel . Walt

Q: 10. Is this for the newest Sigma sport version or the version released prior to 2013?

A: The LensCoat Lens Cover for Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports is for the version that's now discontinued.

Not only does it protect the lens, but it looks dang cool (looking cool is what matters sometimes!) Also seemed to help keep the black lens from getting too hot in the direct sun.
