Q: 1. Concerning the daisy chaining. If I connect the drive to my iMac using the USB connection, can I daisy chain via the thunderbolt facilities other G-RAID devices?

A: Daisy-chaining can only be accomplished via Thunderbolt/Thunderbolt 2/3. USB does not support daisy-chaining. To connect multiple USB devices to a single computer USB port, a USB hub is required - preferably powered.

Q: 2. What's the default password for the G-Raid Configurator utility? I can't reformat it and their support site is awful

A: The G-Raid Configurator does not require a password for the drive. It is most likely requesting an administrator username, and password for your computer. This would be the same password required to install applications, or make system changes.

Q: 3. Where is the USB 3.0 port? I don't see one in the photos. Just want to double check. Thanks!

A: I just received mine last week. The USB 3.0 port is on the back next to the Thunderbolt ports. It's there :)

A: The refresh rate is 60Hz.

A: Mine does not get hot at all and it's remarkably quiet.

This lens is much sharper, has a better build and virtually no CA. It almost makes me forget the 2200 I dropped on it. 5

I purchased this as a spare to have in case the original one is broken. I realized immediately after getting the TS-E 17mm lens that without this lens cap there is no way to safely store or transport the lens because of the protruding front element. If you have a TS-E 17mm f/4L lens, it's worth the few bucks to get a spare cap to protect that expensive lens. 5
