A: Hello Eric - Yes! At the the bottom of the column is a small hook for hanging a sandbag...you will need to unscrew this first to remove the column. Once removed, simply loosen the collar, pull out the column and reinstall in the upside-down position. I would suggest reinstalling the sandbag hook to prevent the column from sliding though the collar while upside down.
