Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the size allen wrench that came with product?

A: Allen wrench that comes with the Quick Release Plat is 4 mm

Q: 2. Does this head come with 2 QR plates?

A: yep

Q: 3. Can the clamp be rotated 90 degrees to accommodate camera on L-bracket?

A: If you have an L-bracket, the connection mechanism is the same whether you are shooting horizontally or vertically. All you do is rotate the camera without changing anything on the monopod. Or if you are using a long lens, you just release the knob that controls the orientation of the foot relative to the lens. In other words, there is no problem.

Q: 4. What are the dimensions of the quick release plate for the Benro S2H Head?

A: The Benro S2H Hybrid Video/Stills Head uses the Induro PU5060 plate. That plate is a 50 x 60mm oversized Arca-Swiss style universal quick release plate with a 1/4 -20 mounting screw.

Q: 5. Can the S4H take Kessler Kwik Release plates?

A: While we have not tested this, since both systems claim to be Acra Swiss compatible, the S4H should be able to take the Kesseler Quick Release plates.

Q: 6. what is the maximum diameter of the lens that this gimbal will accommodate?

A: The maximum diameter would be about 5.5 inches and almost all lenses are less than 5.5 inches around the tripod collar even if they are larger at the front.

Q: 7. Will it work with arca Swiss plates?

A: This head does not accept Arca Swiss plates as is. However you could always mount an Arca Clamp to the top of it. Once you have a product like BH #SUMAC14 on it, it will work with Arca Plates. https://bhpho.to/2wMsQ1n

Q: 8. Can the Arca mounting plate be replaced with a Manfroto style?

A: Unfortunately, the Arca Type Clamp on the GH-M1 cannot be swapped for one that accept Manfrotto plates nor is there an adapter.

Q: 9. Will a Sony 400mm f2.8 fit on this gimbal?

A: Yes, the Benro GH2N Aluminum Gimbal Head has a 55lbs payload system and will make a great match for the Sony 400mm.

Q: 10. Pan and Tilt arms run on ball bearings or bushing?

A: The Benro GH2N Aluminum Gimbal Head has ball bearings.
