A: No, sorry anamorphic does not work that way. If you needed diopters before, you will still need them while using the anamorphic adapter.

A: SLR Magic recommends that with the Anamorphot-50 1.33x Anamorphic Adapter that you use lenses in the 35-85mm focal length. So probably the 30mm will vignette and not be optimal.

A: For the GH5 MFT sensor size, SLR Magic suggests 20 to 85mm as the optimum focal lengths to be used. You need a lens that can take 62mm filters. SLR Magic primes are made for this but are out of your budget as well as the superb Veydra line of cinema lenses. Most Rokinions do not work since they take large than 62mm filters. A: this adaptor will work fro any lens with a front thread under 62mm. because this adaptor has a rear thread of 62 it will not fit onto any lens with say a 77mm thread. its ok to go lower, say if the sayang lens has a 50mm front thread you can easily buy a step down ring to match them up.

A: The Sigma Art 50mm F/1.4 has a 77mm filter thread. The Anamorphot-50 is designed to work with lenses of a certain focal length that have 49, 52, 58 or 62mm Filter Threads. It may work with bigger lenses, but it is not recommended as it may not perform properly. A: In terms of vignetting, it depends on your sensor size. If your are using a m4/3 sensor, you will have no problem with the 50 or 75. I will be testing it out on a 21mm voigtlander later this week. So far the widest ive tried is a voigtlander 40mm. For apsc sensors the widest you can go before vignetting is the 50mm.
