A: Yes it can be used in Chile on the little box that has the plug that you plug into the wall in says input volts 100-240 output 24 volts. I bought mine from B & H and I live in California and it says mine will work on both 110 to 240Leo

A: Regarding using the Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro 4K with an external PCIe enclosure, Blackmagic does not test their hardware compatibility for such devices but they do say some may work. There are no recommendations available at this time.

Q: 3. What is clearance height needed above height of unit?

A: When using the Epson Perfection V850 it is recommended to have about 24 inches to completely open the lid.

Q: 4. Can the v850 scan multiple photos at once and save them out into different files? If so, how? I have this and thought it could do it, but I'm not sure how. THANK YOU!!! :)

A: This is software specific: Using Epson Scan you can do more than one image at a time BUT you only have one level of control. That is, if one photo has a yellow colorcast and a different photo has a green color cast, you can only correct for one or the other.With SilverFast you can customize for each image. In fact you have to: setting the controls for one frame ONLY set the controls for that one frame. If you want one frame set to 1:1 and the next frame set to 1:2, you have set that. But you can. The colorcast I mentioned in the previous paragraph can easily be done with Silverfast but you do have to do that individually. Same as if you want one image grayscale and the next image color. Gotta set it and you can.

Q: 6. I want to get one of these and wonder if I can NOT install the bundled software but A1 Studio instead?

A: yes, just don't install the Epson software. Doesn't cause any issues. If you want to use both (or have both on your computer) ensure you download the Epson software first THEN the third party software. Sometimes installing another software prior to installing the Epson software can cause issues with the third party software. For me silverfast wouldn't work until i uninstalled both and then reinstalled them in the correct order. Now i just use silverfast because it is just as easy and quick to use.

A: You can scan image into a JPEG or TIFF format using the software.

A: The Intensity Pro 4k is a capture and playback device, you would want to use it with a Broadcast Quality Monitor, not a computer monitor like the LG you mentioned. The advantage of a device like this is that it allows you to see what the image will look like on a Television, using it with a computer monitor will not yield the proper results. Instead you would want to look in to an option such as the Lilliput BM280-4K 4K Monitor, which is B&H #LIBM2804K.

Q: 9. I connected the HDMI out of my Canon Video camera to the input of the blackmagic pro 4K and I was recording using Edius 6.55 but it record sound only. I am using windows 7 which up to date. Why I am getting sound only?

A: Because these cards are buggy and you're lucky if you can get them to work properly. More often then not, they don't work. Have owned 4, not a single one worked properly.
