Patterns, or gobos, are widely used by designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting.

Conceived by some of the world's leading lighting designers, the Rosco range presently includes hundreds of standard steel gobo designs.

To insure design integrity the patterns are etched using a precise double-sided process on stainless steel. The result is durable, high quality patterns which will withstand the extreme heat at the gate of ellipsoidal spotlights.

Rosco steel gobos are round to allow for rotation in the gate when aligning the projected image.

The standard "B" size is suitable for most fixtures with a 6" lens when used with a Rosco Pattern Holder or the holders of other manufacturers.

Trimming of patterns, where necessary, can be easily accomplished with a pair of scissors.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Where do you get the Super 8 film processed to be viewable via dvd?

A: Unfortunately, B&H does not process Super 8 Film. As such, I would recommend searching on Google or your preferred internet search engine and search for "Super 8mm film processing" to find processing labs that develop Super 8mm film, and inquire if they also have scanning services to scan the film to DVD.

Q: 2. Hi! I have a Kodak brownie 8mm will this work?

A: No, this is super 8 film. The only film we have that will work is Fomapan b&w film, https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/927375-REG/foma_411801_fomapan_r100_2x_standard.html

Q: 3. I have a Canon Autozoom 814. If I get the daylight film, do I leave the camera setting to tungsten or switch on the daylight filter?

A: You need to change the camera settings to daylight, not tungsten.

Q: 4. So when I get done shooting, I cannot just simply process this and play it on an old super 8 projector right? It has to be scanned to digital right? If so, can someone direct me to color super 8 that can be played on a projector (if that is even being manufactured now)

A: The Kodak VISION3 50D Color Negative Film #7203 (Super 8, 50' Roll), B&H # KOV7203, is negative film. While you may use the above film on an old Super 8 projector, do note it would look weird as all the colors would be inverted. It is designed to be scanned and kept for archival purposes while reversing and editing the digital files. If you are looking for chrome reversal film, the Kodak Ektachrome 100D Color Transparency Film #7294 (Super 8, 50' Roll), B&H # KOE100D50, would be positive film that does not need to be reversed to properly show correct colors. It may be played and displayed properly on a Super 8 projector. That being said, do note that this film has low contrast and scanning and editing the film in digital post-processing is still recommended for optimum performance.

Q: 5. Will this film work with a Minolta XL-401?

A: Yes, the film is super 8 and that is the size film the Minolta XL 40 video film camera uses.

Q: 7. Will this film fit an old Montgomery Ward 760 XL? (Bell & Howell f/1.3 8/5mm-24mm Zoom lens) Cheers.

A: Yes, the Kodak VISION3 50D Color Negative Film #7203 (Super 8, 50' Roll) will fit and work in the Montgomery Ward 760 XL. That camera uses Super 8mm movie film.

Q: 8. Can i use this film in a Bell & Howell 8mm zoomatic camera?
