Q: 2. Is the Syrp Genie Micro compatible with Sony A99ii?

A: The Syrp Genie Micro is not compatible with the Sony A99 II.

Q: 3. I have had these adapters on my lenses for several years. Now I need to use the lenses on my Nikon camera as f mount but have lost the Allan key that came with the lenses. What is the size of the Allen key? I bought a set but it doesn’t have the right size key. Please help.

A: The size is undetermined, you can easily get a set of allen keys from home depot to match up the size.

Q: 4. Syrp Genie Micro. How to update the firmware? iOS app, firmware not updated, failure in module 24.

A: According to the 3-star review on this site: "In the app store there is a Syrp app from Syrp Lab and a Manfrotto motion app also from Syrp Lab. Both have the same functionality and same interface but with design variations to match brand personality. To avoid app connection issues start by installing the Syrp app, the one with the teal Icon and Syrp name on it. Then upgrade firmware for your device in there first. With the latest firmware on your device you can then later connect it to Manfrotto motion app without issues." I checked the iOS App Store, and both of the referenced apps are available. There is more valuable info in that review, so I'd recommend reading it.

Q: 5. Anyone used these with Zeiss zf.2 and Milvus lenses on video cameras? If so, do they work correctly and stay snug while focusing?

A: Haven't used specifically with those lenses, but can attest to the firmness and no play whatsoever in these adapters. Three micro screws physically bolt the adapter to the lens mount so they are solid as a rock. No wiggle at all.

Q: 6. Can this be used on Nikon D610? All the cameras ?

A: Yes it is compatible but you would need this cable: https://bhpho.to/3CFVaj0

Q: 7. Where are the cables for this thing? 1C specifically. It should be the first thing listed in accessories, only 1 pops.

A: In the box, the Syrp Genie Micro comes with a Link Cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A Adapter.

Q: 8. Cameras connect directly to smartphone which allows adjust settings and focus ... what does Syrp give me I don't already have?

A: The Syrp Genie Micro allows more functionality than the native camera WiFi app on some cameras. For example Syrp Genie Micro allows ramping the exposure during time lapse, so if the sun is setting you can for example in the beginning of the exposure have shorter shutter speeds and as the sun goes down you have longer shutter speeds. It also allows you to control multiple cameras at once.

Q: 9. I bought two of these to use with the Zeiss Milvus 21mm and the 50mm. I can only focus to about 15 feet away from me at anything below f8 and even at f16 things 50 yards off are not sharp. Do I need to ship the lens or does do something with the CPU connectors? Any help welcome.

A: Hi Jack - this is a question that is better answered by our support organization - please contact support@redrockmicro.comJust to confirm you are using nikon lenses and adapting to a canon EOS body? These absolutely enable focus to infinity, so you are really far off, not sure if they are being used properly, but go ahead and drop them an email, thanks!

Q: 10. Will these work on Rokinon Xeen for Nikon lenses?

A: Yes, that adapter will work. It is a general Nikon f lens mount to a Canon EF camera mount.
