Easy to install

This product is as advertised, and it includes protection for both screens. The quality, fit and ease of installation coupled with no loss of the touch screen function is a winning combination.

The B & H price point and their stellar service, regardless of whether one spends big or small bucks is the value added proposition that sweetens the transaction.

For a couple of decades I favored the Giottos shields to the exclusion of everything else. I no longer use them as at some point they changed the glass a bit and it began to have a very slight warm tint when installed.

They also attach differently. There is a very narrow strip of double stick tape surrounding the screen. While this makes for a very easy and secure installation, it does create a very tiny empty space between the glass and the LCD.

The double stick tape is not one continuous piece but rather is 4 short strips applied separately. The strips do not overlap completely and leave a very small gap at the corners where there is no tape. While this space does not hamper touch screen operation, it does files ever so slightly and pumps a very fine dust underneath the screen.

For our current 4 bodies I have switched to the Glass version of the Expert Shield. The Expert Shield attaches directly to the LCD and leaves no space into which dust can pump.

Also, the Giottos protector is cut with square edges, which was never an issue for me but you can absolutely feel the edge of the glass with your thumb.

The Expert Shield seems to have a slightly rounded edge and personally if find this much more pleasant to the touch.

While the D6 version has not arrived yet, when I used them on our D5's only the rear LCD protector was glass. The top LCD was made of a flexible plastic material such as is used in other versions of the Expert Shield. I found this to be a non issue but mention it in passing.

Also, during the health crisis when many things were not on the dealer shelves I was able to contact Expert Shield directly and and order from the importer. The lady assisting me on the phone was extremely accommodating and offer outstanding customer service.

This is the product that I currently use exclusively and highly recommend.

I put this on the back of my D850...it seems to work very well. Clarity and transmission of light is excellent, I can't tell it is covering my screen. The touch screen seems to not be impacted at all by the shield. And it is good to know my camera screen is protected. The company is great to deal with...I goofed up my first installation, and they sent me a replacement at no cost. Excellent customer care!!

Using this shield on all my cameras. It provides great protection without effecting the quality of screen.

Nice shield

I followed the directions and videos on the install and it turned out to be far easier than I expected. The touch screen function works as if the glass shield wasn't even there. I couldn't be more pleased with this product.

That was easy enough and now I don't have to worry about anything happening to my valuable equipment. Expert Shield screen protector was easy to apply.
