Unlike a traditional diffusion or soft focus filter, Pro-Mist filters provide little loss of detail across the image. If you are using Blackmagic Media Express to record with you'll need to first install the Apple ProRes codecs (the Apple Pro Video Formats install is available through the Apple store), reinstall the Desktop Video drivers, and Media Express will then show the option to record in Apple ProRes formats.
