A: The PZM 30D requires phantom power 12 - 48v to operate. This unfortunately can not be provided by the PCM-M10 recorder and similar recorders that feature only a 1/8 input connection.

A: Our stage is 28 feet deep by 40 feet wide. We use 3 floors mics.

A: I use this mic in our studio on a C-stand and hand held for street interviews. I do have some shoots coming up in August where I am going to purchase a boom for it. A: the AKG C11LP is designed for use in speech and light theater application. For strong vocals you may wish to look at options that would be designed to tolerate higher Sound Pressure Levels such as the Countryman E6 which is among the most popular mics in this form factor.
