The 8mm has a very large angle of coverage but the lines will curve due to the fish eye construction. If you like the effect, no problem, because the lens are incredibly sharp and the image quality excelent.If you want a more flexible lens the 7-14 would be your choice, 114 degrees of coverage at 7mm and 75 degress at 14mm.
