Q: 1. Looks like there are a couple of holes in the upright side of the L. Are either of them threaded for 1/4 20? I want to attach a Black Rapid strap to the L bracket while it is mounted to the camera.

A: There is one 1/4-20 on the lower side of the L bracket, that is sadly the only one on that side.

Q: 2. Does this bracket have a built in handstrap loop on the bottom? I would like to attach a peakdesign anchor to it.

A: Unfortunately, there is no loop. I have tried every way I can think of to customize a way to attach a Peak anchor outside of going to a machinist, but have been unsuccessful. Looks like an opening for someone to custom design a bracket that meets our needs!

Q: 3. Is this L bracket compatible with the acratech standard clamp with screw? Will the index pin be able to slide in the bracket?

A: Sorry, I dont own Acratech clamps.

Q: 4. Can I tether with this bracket on my D810 ?

A: Yes no problem. You have to adjust the distance of the plate ie slide the plate away from the camera, in order to allow the rubber USB protection cover to be opened. It works very well and specially useful when u use the 24/70 lens in portrait orientation.

Q: 5. I read reviews elsewhere that the plate didn't fit that snug against the lip and it twists when tightened. Is this true for you all? Also does the screw continually loosen? Thanks.

A: Yes: this was a major problem for me. I was unlucky and got a bad one: 1mm space between bracket lip and camera body = useless. A little bit of leverage from camera body and lens while in the clamp and it goes off alignment. I returned it. Not taking anymore chances and will buy the Kirk L-bracket instead.

Q: 6. does it work with a manfrotto 190go an 496RC2 Compact Ball Head? thanks

A: This Sunwayfoto L bracket mounts via an Arca-Swiss clamp. Manfrotto does not have Arca-Swiss clamping system. This includes the 496RC2. Either get a Arca-Swiss head or convert the 496RC2 to both systems with this: Sunwayfoto Arca & Manfrotto Compatible Clamp B&H # SUMAC14 . You will be able to use Arca-Swiss plates and the 200PL-14 Quick Release Plate that comes with the 496RC2.

Q: 7. Will this bracket work with my Nikon D7100?

A: Probably not, since most of these types of brackets are specific to the camera model. But I cannot say for certain.

Q: 8. I know this is ideally for the D750, but will it suffice for the D3300? Ive been advised to by specific to model, but one does not exist for the d3300, and I wasnt pleased with the universal one Ive tried so far..

A: Being that this bracket is specific to the D750, the ports on the camera would be blocked off and the fitment would not be as good.

A: To answer again, I just brought the bracket up from our warehouse and attempted to put it on the z6ii and it did not fit. I couldn't tighten the screw into the threading because of the raised pieces that fit around the smaller body of the z6.

A: If you have the Nikon D810, yes, it is designed to access all panels and doors on that camera.
