The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is tan and features a Switchcraft TA4F connector for use with Revolabs wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from e nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture general speech without noise and distortion.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will manfrotto pan bars attach to this head? In a perfect world I'd like to pair a manfrotto RC Pan Bar with this head...

A: More than likely it will not. Pan Bars tend to be specific to the manufacture or even to the head itself. That being said Manfrotto does offer B&H # MAMVR901APCL, which is a clamp to attach MAMVR901EPLA to a tripod's existing pan bar.https://bhpho.to/2xmQpeGhttps://bhpho.to/2nn5KFj

Q: 2. Compatible with peak design tripod?

A: The GH-M1 is compatible with the Peak Design tripod, but you will need the universal head adapter from PD. https://bhpho.to/3rChEhV

Q: 3. Where is this tripod head made (country of manufacture)? Thanks.

A: I can't find anything on the head or the packaging showing where it was manufactured. I would suggest contacting the company directly.

Q: 4. How does this attach to the tripod? I have a Manfrotto tripod.

A: The following unit offers a Base Mount of 3/8"-16 Female opening.

Q: 5. wondering if this head would work thing arcs swiss plates?

A: Those all are smaller (narrower) than the supplied plates for this unit, so to resolve that, adapt a low profile quick release (Belkin or other) to the S8 plate

Q: 6. Could this work on a monopod? Will it work alright with lighter lenses as well as heavier ones (is there a minimum weight requirement?)?

A: Benro GH2 Aluminum Gimbal Head does work on a monopod with a 3/8" screw. If you don't keep the monopod exactly straight the center of balance will change so the lens will move. That might not be a problem for you if you are holding the camera and panning and tilting but the benefit of having a gimbal will be diminished. Another issue is that it is very large and heavy. It weighs 3 lbs and is 9.5 inches tall so can be hard to hold on a monopod by some. It does not have minimum weight requirement. For a monopod I would recommend this gimbal: Wimberley MH-100 MonoGimbal Head for Monopods https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1513932-REG/wimberley_mh_100_monogimbal_head.html

Q: 7. What is a good tripod to go with this benro I use a Pentax k1 with a sigma 50-500 lens. Would I need to purchase any additional accessories?

A: Benro TMA38CL Long Series 3 Mach3 Carbon Fiber Tripod B&H # BETMA38CL would be a good choice

Q: 8. Hey i heard that flat heads are meant for stills not video is this a exception

A: Definitely not for stills. It can be used for stills of course, but its purpose is much smoother pans and tilts than what you can even hope for from your still photos setup. The head is too big to be comfortable as a standard head for all uses. For stills, I use a quick release ball head on a dedicated medium weight tripod. This video head is dedicated to a solid heavier duty tripod with the intent of mounting the camera directly to it for pans and tilts, or locking it down and mounting a slide or other cinema tool that carries the camera in motion.

Q: 9. does it have ball bearings ?.

A: The Gimbal head does not have ball bearings.

Q: 10. Does this head is compatible to Manfrotto Xpro Section Monopod?

A: Yes it is. You can use this head with the Manfrotto XPRO Prime Base 3-Section Aluminum Monopod, BH #MAMMXPROA3BU.
