The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is tan and comes with a 2mm diameter Duramax cable. It terminates to a 4-Pin Hirose connector for use with specific* Sony wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This is not a mirrorless camera, correct?

A: Yes. It is a mirrorless camera. It uses an electronic viewfinder.

Q: 2. Does this camera have a tripod thread on the bottom?

A: Yes, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R II Digital Camera has a standard 1/4 -20 tripod thread socket on the bottom of the camera.

Q: 3. Can I disable most of the info on the display? When I look at these Sony camera's they appear to me like a game station. All I need if Focus point & confirmation, S, A and ISO

A: Yes you have that option.

Q: 4. What resolutions & bit depth does the HDMI port support for external recording?

A: It is able to output a 10 Bit 4:2:2 Video signal up to UHD (3840x2160) at 60 frames per second.

Q: 5. Is it Fair enough to say Sony a7iv's 4k 60 fps's video quality better than Sony a7s iii's 4k 60 fps's video quality because a7 iv's 4k 60 fps video down sampling from 4.6K n a7s iii is not?

A: Not necessarily. The A7IV shoots 4K60 cropped (1.5x crop, aka Super35) whereas the A7SIII shoots 4K60 internally with full sensor width.

Q: 6. What is the max bitrate for 120fps? Is it still just 12 and 16 like the a7riv?

A: When recording in FullHD 120fps the max bitrate is 100 Mbps

Q: 7. What are the actual viewing dimensions of the EVF itself?

A: Unfortunately there is no method of giving you actual dimensions of view inside. However the viewfinder is 2,359,296 Dots and has the same resolution/dimensions as an A7RII.

Q: 8. 1080p oversampled?

A: No, there is no claim of oversampling of 1080p footage shot on the Sony Alpha a7 IV Mirrorless Digital Camera (Body Only) (B&H# SOALPHA). That feature has been exclusive to the a7S series such as the a7SII and the a7SIII. However, shooting in 4K and then "downresing" to 1080p using video editing software will produce extremely sharp 1080p.

Q: 9. Is the camera menu similar to the a7iii or has the menu been updated to a simpler version?

A: The menu on the Sony Alpha a7 IV is very close to the menu on the Sony Alpha a7 III.

Q: 10. What are the (noticeable) main difference between 4K 60 FPS video coming out of Sony a7 iv and 4K 60 FPS video coming out of Sony a7s iii?is Sony a7 iv's 4K 60 FPS video quality significantly degrade from Sony a7s iii's 4K 60 FPS video quality? What all these Complaining about Sony a7 iv not having a feature of shooting 4K 60 FPS with Full frame is about? I mean there is a lens in the market for any focal length you prefer right?

A: The main difference between 4K 60p on the a7S III and a7 IV is going to be the crop. If you prefer the full-frame look and don't want to have to change your framing to change frame rates then the a7S III is going to be a better choice. Otherwise, the final image quality on both cameras should be similar, though the a7 IV might has a touch more detail than the a7S III since it is down sampling from a higher resolution.
