The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is tan and comes with a 2mm diameter Duramax cable. It terminates to a 3-pin Lemo connector for use with Sennheiser wireless transmitters.

Q: 3. Does the Rode VideoMic GO II mic require the Female 1/4"-20 to Male 3/8"-16 Thread Adapter to put on a tripod? Or can it be screwed onto the tripod without the thread adapter?

A: Yes, the Rode VideoMic GO II does require use of the Impact Female 1/4"-20 to Male 3/8"-16 Thread Adapter (or similar thread adapter) in order to attach the mic to a tripod. The female thread on the VideoMic GO II is 3/8"-16 and the male thread on the tripod is 1/4"-20, so the adapter is needed to convert the thread on the mic to 1/4"-20.

Q: 4. A7iv or a7v

A: I believe you are referring to the A7RV vs the A7IV. The A7IV is a better hybrid photo and video camera, but the A7RV is a better photo camera. So if you take primarily photos with video on the side the A7RV is better, but if you are taking photos and video equally, the A7IV is better.
