The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is cocoa and comes with a 1mm diameter cable. It terminates to a Screw-on 4-pin Mini connector for use with Sabine wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. Has anyone used s flash with this camera?

A: Yes, it works quite well with a flash indoors as well as using it for fill flash outdoors. The link below will guide you to compatible flashes on our website; https://bhpho.to/2PWRYJM

Q: 2. Does it have the variable frame rate that goes up to 240P in HD mode like A7S III at 111MB 4:2:2 10bit at 111mb and 50mb bit rate?

A: If you want to record in Full HD (1920x1080) on the Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera (B&H# SOA74) then these are the available options: XAVC S 4:2:0 8-Bit 23.98p/25p/29.97p/50p/59.94p/100p/119.88p Unfortunately, 240p is not available .

Q: 3. what's the highest resolution of the footage when you shoot on Clear image zoom? only 1080p or go high as 2160p in 4K?

A: Yes you can use the Clear image Zoom in 2160p 4K.

Q: 4. Can one use a depth of preview button on the Ay1V?

A: The Focus Map is a unique way of visualizing depth of field and functions in a similar way to peaking with a colorful overlay of the scene that indicates which parts of the scene are in front of and behind the focus point depending on the chosen aperture. It works the same way as a depth of filed preview does on an SLR.

Q: 5. what is the fastest the camera can write/read an SDXC card for still pics? The 280 mb/s is about double the $ over the 95 mb/s card. Anyone know?

A: The manufactures do not list how fast it actually records an image or video to a card.It is a fast camera but most cameras today will not see that speed card. And the 280 MB/s card is UHS 2 and that camera and most are compatible with UHS 1. So that would not be a card I would use in the camera. For still photos the 95 MB/s is fine. In general you do want to use the fastest card for video. That helps prevent issues and corruption while recording video which is a lot of data.

Q: 6. Does live view preview the actual exposure with a flash attached and not the expected result the camera thinks it will/should look like?

A: There are different modes for that. With a flash on camera you can set for Live View display off so you can compose the image without applying the shutter speed, aperture, ISO settings. Then you can set one of the buttons in the camera to be shot result preview. Then when you press that button with flash attached you can check the image preview with shutter speed, aperture and ISO sensitivity settings applied. Shot result preview is under Setup, Operation Customize, Custom Key/Dial Set.

A: When recording in FullHD 120fps the max bitrate is 100 Mbps

Q: 9. Is this camera also made in China like most of Sony's cameras?

A: Made in Japan.

Q: 10. 4k 60p only with crop?

A: Correct, 4K60p is only available from a Super 35 recording area. Up to 4K30p is possible using the full-frame area (with full pixel readout and 7K oversampling).
