The Countryman E6i Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is light beige and features the Lectrosonics A3M connector for use with their H-series bodypack transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The result is increased signal-to-noise ratio and minimal feedback. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning. The E6i is also available in an omnidirectional version for maximum control over wind noise and plosives (popping).

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture general speech without noise and distortion.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can it carry with ease the D810 with 24-70mm f2.8 VR lense and Follow Focus with 2 15mm rod?

A: The Nikon D810 weighs abut 2 lbs and the NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Lens weighs 2.5 lbs. A 15mm LWS and follow focus depends on the models involved. However, 3-4 lbs would be about right. So a max of about 8.5 lbs would not tax the S6 max of 13.2 lbs capacity.

Q: 2. What forms of QR clamps work on the vertical part of the gimbal, for attaching a flash bracket? The vertical part is about 30mm wide where my QR clamps are about 35 mm wide.

A: You could use a gimbal flash mount like this one: https://bhpho.to/2WZxtyz

Q: 3. IS this head compatible with the oben 1461 tripod?

A: Yes, it will fit the Oben 1461.

Q: 4. I purchased this product and I put my sigma 150-600mm and the 2x teleconveter and pointed to the moon, so it was a step angle. And all the pictures came blur for movement slowly going down. when you said to balance the camera and the lens? How can I make sure they are balanced? And can I purchase a bigger nob to tight better when in angle?

A: A ballhead or pan and tilt head would be better if you don't want to move the camera while shooting; a gimbal head is meant for making photographs of moving subjects, like birds in flight, or racing cars, using a very long telephoto lens. To lock the camera securely at an angle, a different type of tripod head would be a better choice.

Q: 5. My GM-H1 has developed a slight wobble at its base just above the mounting plate. Tightening (locking) the bottom set screw stops the wobble, but when the set screw is loosened to permit the arm to swivel, the slight wobbling starts. Can I pry off the "GH-M1" logo plate on top of the arm's base and either tighten the base somehow or add a washer to take up the slack that is causing the wobble? Any suggestions/answers are welcomed!

A: The manufacturer do not list this as a possible solution. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. Magnus Tel: 212-594-2120 Website http://www.magnustripods.com Email info@gradusgroup.com

Q: 6. ratchet lever broke. Where can I buy the part?

A: Please follow this link to contact Davis and Sanford: http://bit.ly/19hWRnO

Q: 7. How well does this head move in cold temperatures? I am shooting in Yellowstone this winter.

A: This head functions well in cold weather environments.

Q: 8. Can I use this with Nikon D850 + Tamron 150-600 lens?. Can this Gimble fit on a Benro tripod? Does this support Arca type mount?

A: Yes, the Magnus GH-M1 is compatible with a Nikon D850 with a Tamron 150-600mm lens. This will mount onto a Benro tripod, or any tripod with a 3/8"-16 mounting screw, and it uses the traditional arca-swiss dovetail.

Q: 9. what is the size of the PL100 plate that is included with the Benro head?

A: 3 15/16x1.5 inches

Q: 10. Will this work with vanguard Alta pro 263ab?
