All of the movements are incredibly fluid and smooth. The increments are very accurate and repeatable. The entire thing is well-built and will last you a long time. Highly recommended for anyone thinking of doing 360 or other panoramic work.

The Nodal Ninja 6 is an all in one pano setup. Unlike others I priced where you had to buy this and then buy this along with this. The Nodal Ninja 6 has all the components for a very nice price. The pano setting are easy to adjust and have a nice click in place for each shot. Want to find your lens nodal point? Nodal Ninja 6 does this easy and at their website you can download the compete manual a step by step guide for finding lens nodal point and using the Ninja 6 in the field shooting pano's.

This is a fantastic product that has a top level customer service team at Fanotech. Since photography gear will undergo maintenance, I needed information on how to tighten the lower arm of nn6. I was concerned about the response time since it was via email, but Nick, the Fanotech rep who assisted me, replied not only same day but within the hour on a Sunday. He provided immediate support and I was able to solve my issue within 5 seconds after his instructions. This product has opened a whole world of new photography opportunities for me and I highly recommend it based on the service I received and the results it produces.

This is exactly what I need to offer my clients high quality photography for my 360 Virtual Tours. The sturdy build gives me reliable and repeatable rows and columns no matter what lens I use. The built-in bubble level over dead center really helps. The supplied rail stops are great for unpacking on site and allowing a quick set-up.

This is a great unit.  The construction is rock solid.  Yes, it took me a few days to figure things out but there is lots on information on line and on the Nodal Ninja site.  I was very quickly getting perfectly stitched panos of both landscapes and architectural subjects.  Follow up on my questions from the manufacturer were prompt, helpful and very friendly.   I am shooting with a Canon 5d Mkiii and the fit to my camera and all my lenses is perfect.   If you are looking for quality and a great result, look no further.  And no, I dont own stock in the company.

I didn’t think I had any business buying the RRS Pano package because I didn’t yet make money with panoramas, so I decided to try and be “cool” (cheap) and cobble one together with Hejnar photo rails, FLM rotator, and B2-LR-II clamp. Because my contraption didn’t have an easy release knob for the Nodal slide, like the Nodal Ninja has, I only used it a few times. It’s been sitting in a fancy pelican case with molded foam doing about nothing...
When I got the Nodal Ninja NN6 in, I put it to use almost immediately. It’s much more compact, it’s designed to work together, and everything just seem to work more smoothly. As I took it apart I realized that there were subtle improvements and changes that they have made that would’ve been impossible for me to implement with a DIY solution. I’m super happy that I bit the bullet and got something dedicated for Purpose of panoramas. My first, and every panorama since then has come out beautifully.

And as for the gentleman that needed a manual for his son, I studied for weeks watching Lester Picker tutorials, RRS videos, And reading most resources I could get my hands on. Just get on YouTube and it’ll make sense.

I received my Nodal Ninja 6 with the Nadir Adapter, and the quality exceeds my expectations! I will echo what many others have wondered, what are all the extra parts for? Well, according to Fanotec, in their response to my email asking about the parts, their response was, they are just spares. Gray cap is a suction cup for removing bubble level. The Nodal did not include a manual in the box, however in their response email, they did attach a pdf of the manual. The manual is 34 pages and seems to cover most all aspects of the Nodal.


I was wondering what the Nadir Adapter was, and thanks to the manual, it is the base of the vertical rail, which allows the vertical rail to be turned 180 degrees. The Nadir Adapter has a knob to loosen and tighten the vertical rail's base. That was just too logical for me. It did not occur to me such a functionality would be called an adapter.


Unlike all the other panos I looked at, the Nodal Ninja 6 has upper rail and lower rail stops to secure the positioning of the no parallax position (once the stops are positioned and set). This allows the lower and vertical rails to be separated, and then easily reconnected, while keeping the no parallax position secure!


So, as a real estate photographer and videographer, I highly recommend the Nodal Ninja 6 with Nadir Adapter. I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

I am new to panorama photography and kept having a problem that I couldn't define. Then I found out about parallax. I ordered this camera mount and whoa problem resolved. I works great.
