A: It's design makes it an inherently accurate panning head IE-the ball on the bottom, the panning on the top. Once the camera is level, the pan will be level.

A: Justin:Unless your cam weighs more than 17.6 lbs (not likely) and DOES NOT have a 1/4 -20 tripod screw hole (also not likely) in the bottom then it'll work.fine. (The screw hole is pretty standard on most (all?) DSLRs and other camera types, too.) What you might want to put on the bottom of your camera is an L-bracket so you can easily attach the cam to the tripod head since the head uses an Arca-type plate. Talk to customer service to get the right bracket for you camera.
