The lightsource utilizes blue and green dichroic filters in an additive filtration system for better exposure of variable contrast papers. A: Hi, Paris ! .... It will not accept anything but 35mm negative carrier. This is a bare bones system , and the lens you would also need, may not fit!!! It is what I use to make my contact proof 35mm... You could however use it for the same purpose with 120 with and 8x10 120 proofing easel. Hope that helps.

Q: 5. Hi, I've been shooting film for a while now and have recently decided to try developing photos on my own. I know you can use a red light in a dark room but can this enlarger be used with a red light present? I'm only asking because in the specs it says red safety filter not available and wasn't sure if that's it meant by that.

A: The red filter is something that you add to the enlarger's light path so that you can keep the image up while taking out/positioning paper without exposing it. Turning the light off will have the same effect of the red filter, however it may prove more difficult to position the image and all.
