Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it fit Slik U9000 ?

A: Yes, the Slik SBH-100 DQ Compact Ballhead 100 with Quick Release, will fit on top of the "center column" of the Slik U9000 on the 3/8th" male connector.

Q: 2. Is this head (with new pan option) compatible with Gitzo GT0545T? (will it 'reverse' fold?)

A: The Really Right Stuff BH-30 Ballhead with Compact Lever-Release Panning Clamp is the latest updated version of the BH-30 ballhead. As part of it has the Really Right Stuff PC-LR-40 Compact Panning Clamp.

Q: 3. Do you have a recommended storage bag for the Really Right Stuff MH-02 LR? My MH-01 came with a matching storage bag.

A: There is no bag specifically made for the Really Right Stuff Monopod Head but you could use a lens case such as this Ruggard: https://bhpho.to/45OMEMV

Q: 4. Does this monopod come with a base plate included? Do I need to specifically purchase separate base plates for my Canon 5d4 and larger lenses such as the Canon 100-400mm IS II and 70-200mm f2.8 is II?

A: I HAVE THE VERSION WITH THE KNOB RATHER THAN THE QUICK RELEASE LEVER. MOUNTING PLATES ARE ATTACHED TO CAMERAS AND BODIES AND TEND TO BE MODEL SPECIFIC. FOR THIS REASON, THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED AS PART OF THE MONOPOD HEAD. A CHECK OF THE INCLUDED IN THE BOX SECTION WILL CONFIRM THIS FOR YOU.

Q: 5. would this work with the nikkor 200-500?

A: Yes, this plate will work with the Nikon 200-500mm lens.

Q: 6. I need to buy the Sekonic Illuminometer i-346 Light Meter, it is delivery until Monterrey, Mxico?

A: You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

Q: 7. How do you change the leg angle????

A: At the top of each leg is a release clip that allows leg adjustments to be made at set angles. :) In the pictures, the release clip is the part that says "Jobu Design Algonquin" on it.

Q: 8. Will this fit the mefoto walk about monopod?

A: Really Right Stuff Monopod Head with Indexing Lever-Release Clamp BH #REMH02LR will not directly fit the MeFOTO WalkAbout Aluminum Monopod so you will need a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing.

Q: 9. What is the difference is between the indexing version and the standard version? I see the standard one has the spirit level which the indexing one doesn't so trying to work out why it's $90 more?

A: The difference between RRS MH-01 and Indexing MH-02 monopod heads is best explained in the RRS video in youtube, type the following in the search bar:really right stuff monopod head with standard lever-release clampI purchased the MH-02 head as I did not wish to carry a separate tool and the orientation change was fast and elegant. The omission of the spirit level in MH-02 was not an issue with me as it would be really difficult to level the camera & lens on a monopod.

Q: 10. re: The indexed quick release clamp is oriented for horizontal left to right camera tilting but you can change the orientation to vertical fore and aft lens tilting by turning the clamp 90 degrees using the supplied hex key. I believe this copy applies to a less expensive RRS monopod head. It appears that the top platform / clamp of this monopod head can be quickly reoriented without tools using a thumb screw. Can B&H confirm?

A: There are three versions of the RRS monopod head: 1) Standard Screw Knob Clamp; 2) Standard Lever-Release Clamp; and, 3) Indexing Lever-Release Clamp. The two standard versions require a hex key to reorient the clamp whereas the indexing version and be reoriented without tools.
