Add a monitor to your video recording system with this aluminum Heavy-Duty Camera Shoe Mount Adapter with Ball Head from Elvid. This convenient accessory mounts directly to a camera's shoe mount and allows for the attachment of a full array of video accessories. Specifically meant to attach monitors or small lights to your camcorder or camera while shooting video, this ball head has a single locking knob for fast and safe operation, and is easily removable.

Accessories attach via the 1/4"-20 screw thread on top, and the bottom features a removable shoe mount and a 3/8" thread. The shoe mount itself is removable and features its own 3/8"-16 mounting screw, in case you want to use it without the ball head.

A: While a lumens rating is not provided by the manufacturer, they do list this panel as comparable to the output of a 200 watt HMI light.

Q: 3. what is the dc option?

A: This LED Light has an integrated D-Tap Cable, which means it will be compatible with batteries that have a D-Tap Accessory Port. Those are usually either V-Mount or Gold Mount Batteries. We have some nice options from Watson Pro for both that even come with a battery charger, B&H Numbers WAAM95NEIAMK and WAVM95NEIVMK.

Q: 4. Hello, I'm very interested in this kit, but I would like to know what the wattage equivalent is for these lights?

A: These lights draw 23W each and have the comparative output to the original 1x1 (approx 400W Tungsten)

A: Paul, I bought the 2 light kit. This I dont know for the 3 light kit. Also I would suggest you pack the lights in a Storm Case which is a little lighter.

Q: 6. Does this include the power cable and battery cover?

A: The Litepanels Lykos 2.0 2-in-1 Daylight and Bi-Color LED Fixture includes the LED Fixture, the AC Adapter, the Diffusion FIlter, and the Limited 2-Year Warranty (Extendable to 3 Years) with the unit's purchase. However, a battery cover is not indicated as included with the purchase of the LED Fixture.

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer a beam angle measurement for these panels.

Q: 8. Can BOTH the daylight- and incandescent-color LEDs be turned on to full brightness at the same time for more light output overall?

A: Yes, that is possible.

Q: 9. Does it run dimming at 100% on batterry? It is 24vdc its means that it take too much power for regular 12vdc batterry ( 95 mwh). I have one 6x and it shutdown if i dim it more than 50%

A: On our 95Wh we only use these up to 50% or so. We use a bigger 160wh if we need to run on battery at full strength.

Q: 10. Hello, is it possible to use D-tap power supply with these lights? (D-tap voltage is rated approximately 15 Volts)

I already have Litepanel Astra and B&H was having a deal on the Bi-Color Bricks. I have seen them in the field and decided to purchase one. This is a very powerful light, which is great! I like the placement of the power and adjust knobs as they are in perfect position to reach up while having camera on your shoulder. Unlike other lights with controls for each color temp, the two adjustments are brightness and color temp. I also like that while adjusting through the kelvin range it does not change the brightness of the light. Also being weatherproof is great as you can have it outside of your rain bag, or with two of these on stands you can do a standup hit and not worry about it being in the rain or snow. Being such a powerful and wide light, it easily can be used off camera as hair or even a fill light. It is heavier than other on-camera lights, but that is the trade off. The AC adapter that you can purchase is pretty pricey. I ordered an adjustable AC adapter and put on a female d-tap on it, which worked out to $27 and half hour of my time. Chimera even sells a softbox for this light. 5

Like many posted before....it is heavy. I use it on a full sized camera and not a puss when it comes to carrying items so it fits my use fine. Solidly built. Going to take alot of abuse before it breaks. No hesitation in dimming and bi-color is great and just what I need. 5

As someone who has worked in the video industry for 30+ years I can honestly say that I have never purchased any piece of equipment where I can say the manufacturer has made a product where they have thought through how the item will be used in the field and and not cut corners to deliver an item that works almost flawlessly. This light kit as a bundle meets that exception. The case is compact, they included neccessary adapters, the lights are lightweight yet powerful and do what they advertise, the tripods are small yet extremely functional, they included light diffusion, power sources and adapters, and the light itstelf is vedry well made. This kit is exactly what I have been looking for in a traveling, light weight, compact kit that provides all the essentials that you will need in lighting for video. The only piece that I would knock on this item is the battery connection that is a bit flimsly and I feel I am breaking the light when mounting the batteries however the entire rest of the kit and prodcut is so well made and thought out in how it was constructed that I still gave this bundle a 5 star rating! 5

I use these lights for most of my photography needs. The fact that they have batteries makes lighting so much easier on the go. The color temp adjustments on the lights makes this product extremely versatile. A must have for my kit. 5
