The Tiffen 55mm Dark Green #61 Filter is ideal for scenes where it is important to differentiate the green tonal values in black and white photography.
That bowl of apples you want to shoot by window light with black and white film will take on more snap when you use a green filter. The contrast boost this filter offers will darken the red values of the apples while lightening the green table cloth they are resting as well as the green paint on the wall.
Why not make your camera gear complete by adding a complete set of standard black and white contrast filters - green, yellow, orange and red. Along with a polarizer, you'll be covered for anything that comes along.
Tiffen, a leader in the filter industry, proudly makes its filters in the USA and backs up its products with a solid 10-year warranty.

Q: 1. What size of the filter should i buy for this lense? a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/900278-REG/Hoya_anxt55uv_55mm_NXT_UV_Haze.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/900278-REG/Hoya_anxt55uv_55mm_NXT_UV_Haze.html/a
A: 49mm
Q: 2. So , this Fuji lens is native 18MM at it's widest point , and the field of view is 69.2 degrees , which would equal 104.25 degrees if full frame , which would also be many 15mm full frame leneses feild of view , So what lens in Cine format would be the next step wider than this one in E mount ?
A: This is the widest Sony E-Mount Cinema Zoom Lens that we offer from Fujinon. They do have a Fujinon 14.5-45mm options, B&H # FUHK31X14F, however it is for PL Mount.
Q: 3. How is this lens different from the previous 18-55 EF-S, other than a slightly smaller maximum aperture (f/4 versus previous f/3.5)?
A: There are a few differences between this lens and the f/3.5-5.6 versions. First, its size is about 20% smaller. Second is the lens extends in a linear motion when zooming in and out. There is no moving back and forth of the front element. I find this makes for a smoother zoom action when doing video. Third is the rear of the lens is sealed with a glass plate or element so the chance of getting dust in the lens is greatly reduced. Overall, the build quality is good for a kit lens. Optically, I can't say if it is better but I find it is a very good performer for such an inexpensive lens. It is surprisingly sharp and I haven't noticed the f/4.0 on the wide end being an issue. It has very good image stabilization so this helps. Plus, IQ is very good for a kit lens. I use it way more than I thought I would.
Q: 4. I want to verify that this lens is compatible with my canon 5D Mark III
A: The Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 lens is only compatible with the APS-C size sensor Canon DSLRs released since 2003. It is not compatible with Canon full frame cameras such as the 5D III. The Canon full frame cameras are only compatible with the EF lenses.
Q: 5. is there much of a noticible difference when using this lens vs the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Lens?
A: The main difference with this lens is the Stepping Motor for quiet autofocus while shooting video. Otherwise, the optical quality is the same as the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II.
Q: 6. How is image quality (IQ) compared to Tamron 17-55mm f/2.8? I own the Tamron and it is OK but I'd like better IQ. However, I'd hate to waste money on the far more expensive Canon if the IQ is comparable. Anyone have experience with both?
A: Unfortunately I do not own the Tamron lens, so I cannot make a direct comparison. I do like the Canon lens, like you I am not sure that it commands the added expense. I believe if you are very critical of IQ you would find the Canon is a subjectively better lens. You can make a comparison of both lens' photos on the DXO mark site.
Q: 7. Is this lens good for high school basketball
A: If it is your only lens, you'll find it too short overall, BUT this focal length pairs nicely with a 70-200mm lens for wider angle images under the basket.
Q: 8. How many stops of image stabilization?
A: This lens has about 3 stops of stabilization.
Q: 9. Being that this is for an apsc camera, does that mean that it is 17-55 and not multiplied by the 1.6x crop factor. Ik that with full frame lenses it is, but being that this is for an apsc I'm just confirming that it is true 17-55
A: Whether this is an aps-c lens or full frame, you still have to do the math on a cropped sensor camera. You will always have to do the magnification factor with any lens, for example 17-55mm x1.5 crop factor.
Q: 10. Does this lens allow Autofocus in video mode on Sony A7Riii?
A: Yes
