The 1-stop, 95mm Coarse Tiffen Combination Light Balancing 81EF/ND Filter combines the effects of an 81EF light balancing filter with a neutral density filter. An 81EF filter, the strongest in the 81 series, will more than replace the yellow missing from the image and place all skin tones on a distinctly "warmish" level. Neutral density filters appear gray and reduce the amount of light entering the lens. They have no effect on color balance and are very useful when you want to shoot high-speed film outdoors on a very bright day.

Tiffen's ColorCore glass is produced through a process that entails permanently laminating the filter material in between two pieces of optical glass that are ground flat to tolerances of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounted in precision aluminum rings. This process makes for greater accuracy of color as opposed to glass that is simply dyed and become subject to deviation during the dye process.

As such, you would only have half of the available light output if you choose to use one battery with the light fixture.

A: The Aputure LS 1200d Pro LED Light is very new and not out for sale yet. At this time Aputure does not list the exact modifiers that are compatible. It does have the Bowens S mount. And should work with the same modifiers as the 600d. Note, best is to wait till Aputure lists what is compatible.

Q: 4. How do you get to working it on HSS? I go to the mode button but doesn't come up HSS

A: HSS is under sync on your Air Remote. You do not enable HSS from the B1X. On a canon remote you just click the button to go to HSS. Nikon and Sony should just switch when you increase your shutter speed. Make sure you have Auto FP enabled on your Nikon camera.

A: Lithium deteriorates over time loosing charge and its ability to hold a charge.

A: MIRFAK does not specify if this light can be turned off and on underwater. However it would be a best practice to turn the light on before using it underwater.

A: I have had one similar experience with this and it was my error with not getting the battery seated correctly in the light housing. It is a little different than my other equipment with how this slides in. I have 3 of these and I haven't had any other issues.However, I have full confidence in B&H customer service to make this right if your not able to get it to work! Sorry its being difficult :(
