Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this Lens fit my Samsung NX 30 ?

A: Yes, the lens is designed and made for NX format bodies.

Q: 2. Does the focusing of this lens trigger the automatic display of a magnified field of view and focus peaking, the same as when using Olympus's Autofocus lenses in manual focus mode?

A: I think not, because there is no electrical interface between lens and camera. However, you may assign any of those features to a fn (function) button. That is easily done in the camera menu. In my OMD-EM1, I have the magnifying function assigned to fn2 button, which is right behind the shutter (careful not to activate the video button instead...): this way I can switch on and off the magnified image on the EFV to focus, and then shoot. With a little practice, this can be done with a minimum delay.

Q: 3. Is this lens compatible with the Nikon D800 and Nikon D5300? On the product page, only D800E is listed.

A: The Rokinon 135mm f/2.0 Lens for Nikon F Mount with AE Chip is compatible with both the D800 and the D5300. Do note that there is a 1.5x crop factor when using this lens on the D5300, so the true focal length will be approximately 202.5mm.

Q: 4. I have a older Rokinon 85mm that has Focus Confirmation and A setting on the apreture ring. Does the 135 have the same?

A: This lens does have "A" on the lens but does not have focus confirmation.

Q: 5. Is this lens compatible with the Canon R6 if Canon's EF to RF adapter is used?

A: Yes the Rokinon 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC Lens (Canon EF) is compatible with the R6 when using this Canon EF to RF adapter: https://bhpho.to/37BvqWB

Q: 6. Is this a full frame lens or APSC?

A: The TTArtisan 10mm f/2 Lens is an APS-C (crop frame) lens. They make the 11mm for full frame: https://bhpho.to/3cuznxf

Q: 7. Will this lens work on sony a7 mark 11?

A: Yes. It is designed to work well on the A7II or any of the A7 cameras. But the A7II has stabilization and that will make this Rokinon lens even more valuable.

Q: 8. Does it have an aperture lever to allow me to focus wide open and have the camera stop it down when I shoot? The picture does not show this.

A: This is a manual lens, both the focus and aperture are controlled on the lens itself. You will be able to adjust the aperture on the lens.

Q: 9. Do these inexpensive Samyang prime tele's in Micro 4/3 autofocus? Image stabilization?

A: No autofocus or image stabilization. I use mine on a gx7 which provides focus assistance and stabilization.

Q: 10. I am assuming that Nikon D780 is compatible with this lens. Do I need to turn the dial "AF M" of my camera to "M" before I mount this lens? Thanks.

A: You must put the D780 into manual exposure mode to properly operate this lens on it.
