$531.00 $727.47

Helping to balance exposure when working in high-contrast situations, the 100 x 150mm Hard-Edge Graduated ND Filter from LEE Filters is specifically designed to selectively control brightness in difficult lighting. The filter's design places the 0.6, 2-stop density at the top of the filter and then transitions to clear by the center of the filter for a gradual, natural appearance. The hard-edge transition between the density and clear areas is well-suited for photographing scenes with an even, distinct horizon line, as well as when working with long or telephoto lenses. This filter is constructed from optical resin that is both durable and helps to maintain high clarity, and is compatible with the LEE 100mm filter holder.

Graduated neutral density places the most density at the edge of the filter and tapers to clear by the center of the filter in order to accommodate photographing scenes with large bright areas, such as a daytime sky.

Hard-edge transition between density and clear portions of the filter is suitable for photographing scenes with a distinct, well-defined horizon or line between light and shadow, and is also best-suited for use with a long or telephoto lens.

Optical density 0.6 provides a 2-stop reduction in light in selective areas.

Constructed from optical resin for overall clarity and durability.

Compatible for use with the LEE 100mm filter holder.

Included filter pouch protects the filter when not in use.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the warranty period and whether the warranty is valid in India?

A: The limited warranty is valid for 1-year from date of purchase and is only valid in its intended region of sale, which in this case is the US.

Q: 2. Does this IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Lens has blackstone version?

A: No, there is not a Blackstone version of the IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Lens for Canon EF. The IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Lens for Canon EF is a new version with their Dragonfly finish. It is a combination of the Firefly and Blackstone features, having an external structure made of aluminum-magnesium alloys and composite elements, giving the lens both lightness and solidity along with high mechanical strength and resistance in difficult weather conditions.

Q: 3. how does this lens compare to the Sigma 150 2.8 macro os ?

A: The IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Lens is a weather resistant manual focus Macro lens with sharp glass and a haze coating to create more contrast in the images. The 1.1" minimum focusing distance for the IRIX lens is similar to the 1.25" for the Sigma lens. The Sigma APO Macro 150mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Lens is a auto focus lens with a image stabilization, in a well built, (not as weather resistant as the IRIX), lens body. The Sigma specs say: " The optical design employs three SLD elements to virtually eliminate chromatic aberrations and color fringing for improved clarity and color rendering. A Super Multi-Layer Coating has also been applied for greater contrast when working in strong lighting conditions" Both lenses will work fine for macro photography, the Sigma is autofocus, more durable and offers more edge sharpness. The IRIX focuses closer and cost a bit less.

Q: 4. Can I use this lens for my Nikon D5600. And is it deliverable and serviceable in India

A: This lens is compatible with the D5600, with a crop factor of 1.5X applied to its focal length and manual focus only. We can ship this to India, however the manufacturer's warranty is not supported there. You would have the option of purchase a Squaretrade protection plan on this lens which can work in India against defects or accidental damage. You can can see and compare those plans by adding the lens to your online cart.

Q: 5. Is there a teleconverter compatible with this lens?

A: No, Samyang AF 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Lens (Sony E) is not design to fit or connect electronically with teleconverters.

Q: 6. Is there a tripod collar for this?

A: I'm sorry, there are no compatible tripod collars for the Samyang AF 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Lens (Sony E).

Q: 7. Does the IRIX 150mm work with a Canon EOS R and R5 using any of the Canon EF/RF adapters?

A: The IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Lens for Canon EF is a manual lens. It will work on the Canon EOS R using a Canon EF to RF adapter in manual mode.

Q: 8. Do you sell a tripod mount for this lens?

A: We don't yet sell a tripod mount for the Samyang AF 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Lens (Sony E).

Q: 9. Is this lens F stop communication working fine with BlackMagic 6k Pro? I've heard of people having problems with the f stop reading

A: Technically the F/stop in the IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 Lens for Canon EF should be controlled through the BlackMagic 6k. But that specific lens has not been tested and the manufacture does not list it.

Q: 10. Is there a way to use lens this on a Canon EOS Rebel T7 DSLR Camera?

A: No, the design of RF lenses, Canon RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens prevents a lens adapter to be made.

I personally prefer the Olympus 75-300, I prefer crazy zoom, bur for the size, weight and price this is an outstanding little lens.

It can't recommend it enough. A 210mm equivalent zoom for under $200 is a great deal.

Great inexpensive lens, smooth zoom with no creep, fast focusing, sharp images, very light. 58mm thread works with all my existing filters. No lens flare or problems with purple fringing. It was highly recommended, and I bought it on sale before buying my camera.

This is considered to be a 'kit' lens. Kit lenses are generally speaking not very good. Imagine my surprise when I first used this and saw the results. Nothing less than amazing - and considering the price - this has to be the best bang for the buck in M43 lenses. You give up nothing with this lens other than max aperture. Light, fast to focus, and wonderful results.

I wanted a cheap telephoto lens to photograph the local flora and fauna with my new Olympus PEN. This fit the bill perfectly. Light, decently-fast focusing and fun to use. Really good value for the money.

I've used this lens now for several weeks and I'm very happy with the results, primarily for outdoor shooting while on vacation. It's very sharp and produces beautiful results. I primarily shoot without a tripod and have no issues with the quality of my pictures. It is not as diverse as the 14-150, but I have to expect that given the price and it being the 40-150mm version of course. Overall a great product and I'm happy with the purchase.
