The Tram TR50 is a professional omnidirectional electret condenser lavalier microphone with a low-profile design resulting in low visibility. The TR50 features a frequency response that enhances the character and frequencies associated with speech.

The polar pattern provides a generous pick up response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. This enhances sensitivity and minimizes noise associated with movement, wind and clothing contact. The TR50 features minimum sound coloration and is available in a variety of connectors for direct integration with wireless transmitters. This version features the 6-pin connection for use with Audio Limited wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. Can the binocular attachment be removed or can the camera be attached to the chest area?

A: It's a very handy vest for when you're walking/hiking and don't want to have to hold on to, or be concerned with, something flopping around chest or side while you're doing that. It's very easy to attach or remove from the vest in one quick motion. The camera or binocs. are very secure once attached. The only downside of this system in the mounting peg must use a tool (allen wrench) to attach /detach it to the equipment. Also, there are small parts (ie., screw) that would easily get dropped or lost while going through this changing process. That was my bidggest concern in the field. There are better camera mounting systems (ie, single piece systems that do not need tools or have loose parts) out there that do not need tools or have loose parts to have to deal with if you want to change to a tripod plate or a different carrying strap. I talked directly to the president of the Cotton Carrier company about this. For the practical aspect of hands-free, secure carrying system while hiking or trekking, it's outstanding.
