The Pelican 1470 Computer Case with Foam (Black)) is a watertight, dustproof and corrosion-proof case with a slim attache design. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer polypropylene that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has an Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve for changes in altitude or temperature. It can be carried by a comfortable rubber over-molded handle, or an optional removable, padded, ergonomic shoulder strap.

This case includes a three-piece foam set that consists of one "egg crate" foam upper section, one Pick 'N' Pluck foam section, and one 1.0" blank bottom foam section.

Now you too can look like a cyber tech character from the movies. In addition, this case is strong and waterproof. The latches have a built in safety mechanism and will never open accidentally, and sometimes it won't open intentionally either. Built in locks are also incorporated in the latches. 5

I own an equipment rental company in Los Angeles and this case takes great care of my Macbook Pro. Plenty of room for the computer and the power supply. It also makes a professional statement when you hand it to a customer. It looks like quality. It's not too big or heavy. I can't think of one CON. Pelican is great. 5

I recently traveled to a third world country and wanted to bring my new laptop along. But how to protect my baby? This Pelican case is perfect. It protected my investment over the course of a long journey. The environment that I lived in was not electronics friendly either--lots of dust, bugs and heat--but this case protected my sensitive equipment like a charm! The peace of mind that it gave me was, in and of itself, worth every penny that I paid. You'll never have to worry about throwing this bad boy for a loop. I heartily recommend this product. 5

Everything you would expect from pelican. Holds my 13 in MacBook Pro with room for the power supply and a few adapters under it. Perfect solution for extra protection over soft cases. Love it. 5

I like the built-in dual keyed locks, along with the option to use my own locks through the loops if I so desire. Fits my items perfectly; I use it to hold an M&P Shield and an M&P 22 Compact, along with 4 magazines for each. The foam isn't pull'n'pluck, so I traced a template onto coardboard and cut it out, then transferred to foam to cut out with a Nordstrand hot knife foam cutter, worked well. 5
