Q: 1. How do you delete all the images on the card?

A: Please follow the following steps Press the MENU button. Use the control wheel to select Setup. Select Format. For cameras with two memory card slots, select between Slot 1 or Slot 2. A message displays to confirm if you really want to delete all the data. Use the control wheel to select Yes and format card.

A: This would be weather sealed, but not weather proof.

Q: 4. Will the Sony FDA-EVM1K Electronic Viewfinder (for RX1) work on this camera?

A: The RX1R II has a built in viewfinder.

Q: 5. can you record video out through the USB-C port? if yes what specs on the cable

A: No, the Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera is not designed to record video out through the USB port.

Q: 6. Is this camera will work with sigma lenses? Because i have not seen any sigma lenses in accessories

A: Yes, Sigma makes lenses specifically for the Sony FE mount. These will be fully compatible with the Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera. One can find compatible Sigma lenses at the link below: https://bhpho.to/3BBxxbK Additionally Sigma lenses in the EF-mount can be adapted using the Sigma MC-11 Mount Converter/Lens Adapter (Sigma EF-Mount Lenses to Sony E), BH #SIMC11C (https://bhpho.to/3xI87bg).

Q: 7. A7iv or a7v

A: I believe you are referring to the A7RV vs the A7IV. The A7IV is a better hybrid photo and video camera, but the A7RV is a better photo camera. So if you take primarily photos with video on the side the A7RV is better, but if you are taking photos and video equally, the A7IV is better.

A: Yes, I'm pleased to say that the Sony A7IV will support the Sony XLR-K3M audio adapter.

Q: 10. I see this camera lists the option to shoot photos in the 1:1 ratio. Will this camera allow a photographer to shoot in the 1:1 ratio in RAW file mode? Thus providing 1;1 (square) raw files?

A: Let me clarify. When you set the camera to raw you can select 1:1. What you see in the viewfinder and on the LCD are 1:1, ie, square. When you import the file into Lightroom (and I believe also C1 but haven't tried it) what you see is the square image that you framed. However when you click on the crop tool the whole 3:2 image is there and you can reframe your 1:1 image or you can go back to the original 3x2 image. If you choose the 3x2 image you have the full 42mpx (5304x7952( image so nothing is lost. If you choose the 1:1 square image the square crop file image size is 5296x5296 or 28mpx (I said 26mpx above which is what I had read before receiving the camera but these numbers are taken from my lightroom files.
