Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you transfer individual tracks to a computer all at once via USB connection ?

A: Yes, you can transfer individual tracks from the Tascam DP-24SD 24-Track Digital Portastudio to a computer via USB. The tracks must be saved as WAV files. You can find all of the details for exchanging data with a computer on page 67 of the owner's manual: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/660199.pdf

Q: 2. Does it come with a memory card?

A: Yes a memory card is included, but it is only 2MB ( about 5 minutes of 8 tracks). Fortunately SD cards are very affordable - I suggest getting one with a rating of 10 inside a circle on it!

Q: 3. Is this unit capable of 24-bit/48k in all 8 input channels simultaneous or is it limited to 2 channels and defaults to 16/44.1?

A: The DP32SD allows you to record all 8 inputs at 48Khz, 24 bit.

Q: 4. Can you monitor the input with the built in reverb added?

A: The unit does not have that ability.Full details on the unit's features and functions are available here:a href= http://tascam.com/product/dp-03sd/ target= _blank http://tascam.com/product/dp-03sd//aAn Owner's Manual is available from the DOWNLOADS tab.Thank you for your interest in TASCAM products.'

Q: 6. Can we connect to audio mixers such as Mackie Pro FX8 V2 ?

A: Yes, you can connect the outputs from another mixer to line level inputs on the DP-24SD. Likewise, you can connect the outputs from the DP-24SD to line level inputs on another mixer.

Q: 7. so if i only have 20 faders does this mean i can only mix 20 channels at a time

A: Channels 9-32 are grouped in stereo pairs, so just one fader per pair. You can also set fader groups, so if you're doing a live mix you can have, say, the drum kit mics in a group and then control overall volume with a single fader.

Q: 8. Will this record in 96Khz/24 bits?

A: No. 16 or 24 bit, 44.1 or 48 kHz recording.

Q: 9. Does it work with 220V-240V power supply?

A: The included AC adapter operates on 120-240VAC 50/60 Hz.a href= http://tascam.com/product/dp-24sd/overview/ target= _blank http://tascam.com/product/dp-24sd/overview//aThank you for your interest in TASCAM products.

A: There is no CD burner available in the DP-24SD. You are able to record to SD memory card or out via USB to a computer.
