The cocoa E6 Omnidirectional Earset Mic, Medium Gain, with Detachable 1mm Cable and 2.5mm Connector for Lectrosonic Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one-tenth ounce. It is a water- and wind-resistant microphone that can be used on either ear for capturing audio in houses of worship, theater, or outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, omnidirectional E6 Earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers forget they're wearing a mic. Three sensitivity options cover general speaking to extremely powerful vocals and four color options allow you to match the E6 to your skin tone for minimum visibility.

In addition, the E6 Earset features three omni caps (very bright +8 dB, bright +4 dB, and flat +0 dB) that deliver response characteristics for most other applications such as recording flute and violin. The E6 Earset is available as a directional microphone too with cardioid and hypercardioid caps. This omnidirectional E6 Earset's cable terminates to a 2.5mm connector for direct connection to a Lectrosonic MM200, MM400, MM400a, MM400b, or MM400c wireless bodypack transmitter.

The Countryman E6 head-worn Earset is small and lightweight, and is hardly visible from a distance.

The E6 Earset's stainless steel boom is built tough and can be bent and re-bent many times to fit different performers. The E6 is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps.

The flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face and is available in multiple skin tones. Their protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones; caps for the directional earset adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid. Choose a sensitivity for speaking or singing with up to 140 dB SPL capability.

The E6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion and an SPL of up to 140 dB. It delivers rich, full band audio quality.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a position for rejecting unwanted sounds. Countryman's omnidirectional Earset offers a reduction of 12 dB compared to a lavalier mic, while the directional E6 Earset provides even more isolation. Excellent for houses of worship, theater, and outdoor events.

An E6 replacement cable installs in seconds. The snap-on cables are rugged and available for almost any wireless transmitter or for XLR inputs with phantom power.

For speaking and vocals.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a Nikon D3300 and a Altura speedlite for nikon, will this Gordox Trigger & Receiver set work in TTL mode, or must I set my flash power level independently?

A: While this Godox trigger system can trigger Nikon compatible flashes in TTL mode, it has not been tested with the Altura Speedlights for Nikon, therefore we cannot account for their compatibility. Your results may vary.

Q: 2. Will the receiver work with Nikon cameras with built-in transmitters? (Nikon D850)?

A: This can only work with Godox transmitters. It will not work with Nikon built in transmitters.

Q: 3. Can I do HSS with this using a profoto acute 2 system?

A: No, you cannot. The only transmitters remote(s) that offer TTL and HSS capability with Profoto AirTTL support-compatible monolights would be Profoto Air Remote TTL-C for Canon, Profoto Air Remote TTL-F for Fujifilm, B&H # PRARTTLF, B&H # PRARTTL, Profoto Air Remote TTL-N for Nikon, B&H # PRARTTLN, Profoto Air Remote TTL-O for Olympus, B&H # PR901046, or the Profoto Air Remote TTL-S for Sony, B&H # PRARTTLS. You cannot use Godox remotes for TTL or HSS usage on Profoto strobe units. However, as stated above, the Profoto strobes would also have to be TTL-compatible with Profoto AirTTL support to fully work with the aforementioned remotes. The Profoto Acute 2 system is not a TTL-compatible system, and as such, you would not have either TTL or HSS compatibility when using the Profoto Acute 2 system. The only Profoto strobes that are AirTTL compatible would be the Profoto A1, B1, B1X, B2, and D2 strobe units, and the Profoto Pro-10 2400 AirTTL Power Pack.

Q: 4. hi, does it work with the nikon d800e?, and I have 2 nikon flashes the sb-700 and an older one, would it work with both units? at the same time?thanks

A: The D800e has the flash commander mode built into it, and thus there is no need to purchase this device to use with it. The D800e can trigger any flash models which are compatible with the i-TTL wireless system, including the SB600, SB700, SB800, SB900, SB910. Page 185 of the D800e's instruction manual details how to set the camera up to trigger these flash units. If you would like to confirm if your orlder one is compatible, please send an email to askbh@bhphoto.com and our agents there can confirm its compatibility.

Q: 5. I would like to use all pigment ink cartridges from the beginning. Will that work on this printer?

A: Only the PGBK Black the PGI-250 for this printer is pigment, all the other 5 inks c/m/y/k/g CLI-251 are dye based. Canon doesn't make any in pigment that fit this printer. Using aftermarket inks in my experience clogs the printheads. If you do it, it's @ your own risk.

Q: 6. Will this unit work with SB-800 Speedlight?

A: Absolutely. It works with the SB-800.The SB-800 operates a stand-alone Speedlight, wireless Speedlight Commander or wireless remote unit, according to Nikon's website. The SU-800 operates a wireless Speedlight Commander, and only needs a remote flash, which your SB-800 would be. And it works with my SB-600, which is the same generation, as well as my SB-700, which is current.

Q: 7. Can I put the transmitter on a Nikon z50 and fire a Nikon d500 with receiver attached?

A: If you have the Godox X1R-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Receiver for Nikon connected to the remote terminal on the Nikon D500 DSLR camera via the included N1 Camera Sync Cable, and you have the Godox X1T-N TTL Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter for Nikon connected to the Nikon Z50 Mirrorless Digital Camera and both remotes are set to the same channel/group, then yes, triggering the Nikon Z50 should also wirelessly trigger the Nikon D500.

Q: 8. Is this compatible with the D5100?

A: Yes, the Nikon SU-800 is compatible with the D5100 and will allow the D5100 to then trigger any i-TTL compatible speed lights.

Q: 9. Does half pressing the shutter lights the back of the transmitter?

A: The test button must be fully depressed for the light in the back to illuminate.

Q: 10. Is this printer compatible with a mac OS Mojave 10.14.6?

A: Yes, the Canon PIXMA iP8720 is compatible with macOS Mojave.
