Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this lens work canon 750d?

A: Yes

Q: 2. I have a Nikon D5300 camera, and am looking to get a wide angle lense for in door and outdoor low light photography. Is this a good lens for what I want it for?

A: for interiors, this is the best lens for the money. Tripod and f/8 aperture or smaller recommended

Q: 3. What is the difference between this lens and the Samyang t/1.4 cine lens?

A: Cine lens has focus and aperture gears for rigs. You'll see a coglike shape for the focus and aperture rings on the Cine series for attaching the lenses to rigs etc.

Q: 4. Can I control the aperture of the lens with my camera on a Sony body and shoot with Aperture priority. I am a little bit confused because some of the reviews online make it sounds like it only works for Nikon body

A: My camera is a Sony a77II. I use this lens on aperture priority. Aperture adjustments are made manually on the lens. Camera adjusts shutter speed depending on conditions. I have enjoyed the lens. Have taken some great portrait shots. It does require more work from the photographer ie. manual focus and aperture adjustments which is not a bad thing for an amateur like me.

Q: 5. is this lens works as Auto Focus or manual?

A: The Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC Lens for Canon EF (AE Chip) is a manual focus lens.

Q: 6. is this works on Nikon d810 for Astro photography??? SPL for milkyways and landscapes ??

A: As you own a full-frame camera, yes, the Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC Lens for Nikon F (AE Chip) may be used on the Nikon D810 DSLR camera to photograph the Milky Way. However, I say that with a caveat. 35mm is normally the shortest wide angle lens that is typically recommended for use when trying to photograph the Milky Way with a full-frame camera for two main reasons: First, it is one of the shortest focal lengths that will still allow you to capture a majority of the Milky Way. Second, with shorter wide angle lenses, you have a shorter amount of time before the rotation of the Earth starts to cause star trails, which can make your image look slightly blurry. It simply depends on what you are trying to capture. The Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC Wide-Angle Lens for Nikon, B&H # SA2414AEN, may allow you to capture more of the landscape and the Milky Way, and allow you to have longer exposure times to capture detail before incurring star trail issues, but it is a personal preference.

Q: 7. Can it be adapted to micro four thirds camera with a simple Nikon f/g MFT adapter?

A: Yes you could use an adapter like this one. https://bhpho.to/2HDHV81

Q: 8. will focus peaking and exif data functions work with this lens?

A: Focus peaking will definitely work, as this is built into the camera, not the lens. You will not get full exif data, since there is nothing to tell the camera what lens you are using.I've used this lens on both my NEX-7 as well as my a7 and it works great, as long as you are comfortable with manual focus.

Q: 9. will the k mount version work with the pentax k1000?

A: Yes that camera has a K mount so it will fit. This lens is full frame so it will fill the whole frame of the film.

Q: 10. Where is this lens made? Japan or China?

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is South Korea. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.
